• 1. Purity: A word gets out, the organisation will be purified. • 2. Respect: The organisation will likely raise the members level of respect for the leadership. • 3. Follow –up and confrontation Follow up has to take place after confrontation and when it is done well, the follow-up can be especially warm and personal. 2 Cor. 2: 6-8

• 1. Check your motive. Your goal should be to help, not humiliate. • 2. Make sure the issue is worthy of criticism. Does it really matter? • 3. Be specific. Don’t drop hints, but clearly name the problem.

• 4. Don’t underestimate the person’s self confidence or identity. Make it obvious that you value the person. • 5. Don’t compare people. Use realistic standards to measure conduct. • 6. Confrontation must be done in order to rectify, purify and unify When leaders don’t stand for something, their people will fall for anything.
