January Bulletin 29 January, 2016

T

he term has got off to a crisp start, reinforced by some encouraging Oxbridge results with 9 students confirmed so far as holding offers, two outstanding evening charity events with sell-out performances, the very accomplished Sixth Form production of Heritage and we are looking forward to the Classics department production of The Golden Masque of Agamemnon. We have also had some excellent results in hockey and netball in spite of some challenging winter weather.

Carol Service at Romsey Abbey For those parents and friends who were unable to join us at the Carol Service at Romsey Abbey, Mr Blow has produced a short video of highlights. Please click here to view. You might also be interested that the collection from the service amounted to an incredible ÂŁ1,544 which will be donated to Make A Wish and the New Forest Nightstop charity.

We hope to be moving into the Design Technology workshop early next week following the fire refurbishment which has, of course, limited the facilities available to us during the process of reconstruction. Plans are now well developed for the new Theatre, Art Department and Sixth Form Concourse, some initial illustrations from our architects can be seen below AJ Thould
