‘The experience exceeded my expectations. My mind was stretched throughout the programme and the activities were so extensive and diverse that it was a new experience each day. The classes were much more challenging than I expected, and best of all I made some incredible friends.’ Kendya Goodman, Thailand, Pre-University Summer School 2014

Students who meet the attendance criteria and submit and pass all required coursework receive an academic transcript.
Interactive classes Many of our courses have an interactive approach and may include seminars, discussion groups, scenarios and role play. Some students come expecting large anonymous lectures and are often surprised that they leave having made lifelong friends and long-lasting memories of their time in class.
‘The Summer School has been a remarkable experience that I will always hold close to me. The openness and eagerness of our tutors was of not only the course, but also the city of London and its people, really gave the module a more intimate and personable feel. Learning in such a world city provided me with a new perspective on different cultures and the significance of the simple differences that exist between people of different nations and communities.’ Undergraduate Summer School 2014
‘Apart from being academically enriched, I have also learnt so much about the culturally rich London. King’s is located in the heart of London and this location could not have been better. As I walked to school every morning, the beautiful view of the London Eye and Big Ben along with the trademark red telephone booths greeted me. King’s is close to numerous museums, musical theatres and shopping districts so my after school activity was always packed with experiencing the local way of life.’ Text

‘What I have taken from my intensive daily summer classes was an education that has prepared me to become a stronger critical thinker and the increased confidence to engage with academics in discussing matters I am most passionate about, which has further prepared me for future graduate level classes in my chosen profession. As a recent undergraduate and beginning professional in the health sector I look forward to utilising my new skills and perspectives.’ Undergraduate Summer School 2014
