Filmmaking equipment English Plus Film students have access to the following at Kings Los Angeles: à Classroom equipped with an interactive projector or smart television for interactive learning experience à iMac desktops with user-friendly scriptwriting program software installed à Production equipment including prosumer DSLR camera, sliders and dollies, lighting tools, microphones, tripods à Professional, up-to-date film editing software

I chose this class because I want to learn more about the film industry while improving my English at the same time. Making our films has been an excellent experience, which has allowed me to see many aspects of filmmaking, while giving me the opportunity to communicate my ideas in English to my classmates. We had to work as a team, speaking English with each other. This class is a really good opportunity to meet other film enthusiasts from different countries. What could be better than to be in Hollywood when we want to make movies!

A wide range of production equipment

For those with no experience of filmmaking at all, this is a great introduction. For others who have had a bit of experience, it’s a great opportunity to see American-style filmmaking in action. Several students have returned to do the 12 week course, and have gone on to attend other film schools in both Los Angeles and around the world.
