COVID-19 update

11+ entrance examinations for 2023 entry

The COVID-19 pandemic has led many schools to instigate a review of the arrangements for their entrance examinations.

As well as having removed the Verbal Reasoning paper from our assessments last year, we sent out comprehensive resource packs to help pupils prepare. This year, having consulted with parents and in line with a number of other schools, we are going one step further and bringing forward the date of our 11+ entrance examination to Friday 4th November 2022. The 10+ examination date of Saturday 7th January 2023 remains unchanged.

We want to reassure you that the examination papers will reflect this earlier timing. Interviews for successful candidates will take place on Friday 6th January 2023. We hope that this change allows a more restful Christmas break for pupils, whose emotional wellbeing is our primary concern.
