Salvatore Gerardi This is Salvatore Gerardi’s 11th solo show with King Street Gallery. He is regularly hung in major group exhibitions in Sydney for example the Wynne Prize, the Dobell Drawing Prize and the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery NSW, the Mosman Prize and the Blake Prize which is now hung at the National Art School Sydney. Gerardi’s work hangs in collections such as KPMG, Artbank, UTS and other important corporate collections in Australia. He works from his studio in the northern beaches in Sydney. His paintings and etchings are connected to the shoreline and often have direct reference to the tide line. This exhibition includes five visiting printmakers that have joined with Salvatore Gerardi to make this new body of work called Dialogue – Peter Sharp, Paul Smith, Michelle Watts, Brenda Tye and Sussi Haymans.
