REDS TO PLAY AFC BOURNEMOUTH

Crawley will face Fulham or Burnley should they beat the Cherries in round four. The Reds have been drawn away to Championship side AFC Bournemouth in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The draw for the fifth round also took place this evening and if the Reds were to beat the Cherries in round four, they would face the winner of Fulham vs Burnley in round five. The Fourth and Fifth Rounds are due to take place over the weekend of 23 January and Wednesday 10 February respectively.

Crawley will be looking to reach round five of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time since the 2011/12 season where we defeated Hull City in round four.

The Reds reached round four having beaten Premier League side Leeds United 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. Nicholas Tsaroulla scored an outrageous solo goal to open the scoring in the 50th minute, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe added goals two and three to seal the deal for the Reds.

Crawley reached round three having beaten Torquay United in a dramatic 6-5 thriller in round one. Then travelling to rivals AFC Wimbledon’s newly built Plough Lane, riding out 2-1 victors on the day, Ashley Nadesan and Max Watters scoring the two goals.

Ashley Nadesan and Tom Nichols currently share the top spot of the FA Cup golden boot, both scoring 3 goals respectively. Tom Nichols also leads the way in the assists table, only Brad Halliday of Doncaster Rovers matching Nichols tally of three thus far.

Jason Tindall’s side currently sit third in the Championship table behind Norwich City and Swansea.
