Alumnae & Friends Luncheon. Ths year’s event was chaired by Pat Kidson Fogle Cavanagh ’66, Christine Robertson Morenz ’92 and Brooke Bagby O’Neil ’02. The keynote speaker and the recipient of the Margaret

Kinkaid Alumna Award, Lisa Helfman ’93, Director of

Public Affirs Houston for H-E-B Grocery Company and the Founder of Brighter Bites non-profit, delivered an inspiring message that encouraged us to care for ourselves, live with integrity and do the things that bring you joy. Lisa encouraged the audience to take time away from constant busyness to live a life of real purpose.

Lisa’s message can be viewed through a link on our webpage. Thanks to over 400 donors, this year’s event will raise over $110,000 for the Margaret Hunter Kinkaid

Scholarship. Ths need-based fiancial aid scholarship will be awarded to a female sophomore student who exhibits leadership potential. Though her agreement,

Kinkaid will involve her in a three-year plan of activities and experiences to help build the habits of successful leaders. The future recipients of this scholarship may one day grace the stage at an Alumnae & Friends luncheon with their own life changing story.
