Brief Create a logo to represent the One Thousand Women campaign, based on Samantha Wisenitz.
Background Action Against Cancer, are launching a campign in partnership with Samantha Wisnevitz. She is planning to raise £250, 000 for the charity by setting up a fundraising ‘pyramid’ initiative which will see 1,000 women asked to raise £250 each to help fund a major breast cancer discovery programme. A cartooned version is required for the website. Sam is a bubbly and positive person and that should be reflected within the character.
Logo I collaborated with Maya Srivastava, Rosalind Stoughton, Chris Anderson and Sarah Frackelton to come up with the final logo. We each came up with a range of ideas that we then combined using elements from all of them to create the character. Here is my contribution the project.
