ADOPT A DONKEY BILLY BEAN
Grey/brown gelding. Billy came to the Donkey Park with his best friend Crackers in 2002. They originally came from a farm park based in Wales who lost all their other livestock during the foot and mouth outbreak of 2001. As they missed all the attention from visitors they were beginning to misbehave and becoming quite a handful. Therefore we were asked to step in and take them in. Year of Birth: 1997.
ROY
Grey gelding, Roy arrived at the Donkey Park in 1989 when we took in his mother Bridget, who was in foal. We finally met him later that year when Bridget gave birth. Unfortunately he suffers from an ailment called sweet itch which is an allergic reaction to a bite from a midge, he has a special rug that he wears during peak midge times and along with daily fly spray treament this keeps the sweet itch under control. Year of Birth: 1990.

Grey roan jenny, Grizelda was found running wild on Bodmin Moor with a foal at foot (Beamish) having been abandoned by their previous owner. If they had not been found and taken in Beamish would not have made it through the winter. Grizelda is an extremely stubborn donkey who keeps us on our toes. Year of Birth: 1981.

FEE
White jenny thought to be around 28 years old. Colleen came from a farm in Ireland in 1989 and must have been in foal when she arrived. She was very underweight and poorly and unfortunately her foal was born dead. She was very sad for about 3 months, but with lots of TLC she recovered. Colleen goes out and about to represent the Donkey Park, which she loves. Colleen like Roy and Beamish suffers from sweet itch and has her own special rug. Year of Birth: 1982.
