Kiwi Watermelon Quicksicles

Two of summer’s favorite flavors in one sweet treat.

Serves 3 → Total Time: 8–10 minutes

You’ll Need

1 kiwi, peeled

2 tsp (10 mL) agave nectar or honey

2 tbsp (30 mL) water

6 tbsp (90 mL) watermelon juice (or 4 oz./125 g cubed watermelon pureed in Manual Food Processor

Directions

1. Place the kiwi, agave, and water into the Manual Food Processor and process until pureed.

2. Pour the mixture into the wells of the Quicksicle Maker and freeze until set. Pour in watermelon juice; let it freeze.

Cook’s Tip

To make Strawberry Kiwi Quicksicles, use 2 oz. (60 g) of strawberries, cut into chunks, in place of the watermelon.

Piña Colada Quicksicles

A treat inspired by the beach, these are delicious with or without the rum.

Serves 3 → Total Time: 8–10 minutes

You’ll Need

¼ cup (50 mL) coconut milk (canned or refrigerated)

¾ cup (175 mL) pineapple juice

Up to 2 tbsp (30 mL) rum (optional) Toasted sweetened flaked coconut (optional)

Directions

1. Whisk the coconut milk, juice, and rum (if using) until combined.

. Pour the mixture into the wells of the Quicksicle Maker and freeze until set. Sprinkle finished quicksicles with lukewarm water or dip in whipped cream, then coat in coconut.

Mint Chocolate Chip Quicksicles

Made with yogurt for guilt-free snacking.

Serves 3 → Total Time: 10–12 minutes

You’ll Need

Quicksicles

½ cup (125 mL) low-fat, or nonfat vanilla yogurt

¼ cup (50 mL) milk (2% or whole)

¹/8 tsp (0.5 mL) peppermint extract

1 drop green food coloring

Homemade Magic Shell

1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tbsp (15 mL) coconut oil

Directions

1. Whisk all the quicksicle ingredients together until combined.

2. Pour the mixture into the wells of the Quicksicle Maker and freeze until set.

3. For the homemade magic shell, combine the chocolate chips and oil in a small bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 45–60 seconds, or until melted; stir. Dip the quicksicles into the chocolate and let stand to set.

Nutella® Quicksicles

Chocolate-hazelnutty goodness topped with a fun homemade magic shell.

Serves 3 → Total Time: 10–12 minutes

You’ll Need

Quicksicles

¾ cup (175 mL) milk (2%, whole, or refrigerated coconut milk)

¼ cup (50 mL) Nutella®

Homemade Magic Shell

1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tbsp (15 mL) coconut oil

Directions

1. Whisk all the quicksicle ingredients together until combined.

2. Pour the mixture into the wells of the Quicksicle Maker and freeze until set.

3. For the homemade magic shell, combine the chocolate chips and oil in a small bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 45–60 seconds, or until melted; stir. Dip the quicksicles into the chocolate and let stand to set.

Serves 3 → Total Time: 8–10 minutes

You’ll Need

1–2 tbsp (15–30 mL) mint leaves

¼ small seedless cucumber, peeled

½ cup (125 mL) limeade

½ tbsp (7 mL) honey or agave nectar

1 tbsp (15 mL) gin (optional)

Directions

1. Add the mint to the Manual Food Processor and process until finely chopped. Add the cucumber, limeade, and agave nectar, and process until combined.

2. Pour the mixture into the wells of the Quicksicle Maker and freeze until set. When pouring, make sure the cucumber and mint pieces are evenly distributed among the wells.

2 tbsp (30 mL) sweetened condensed milk

Directions

1. Whisk the ingredients together until combined.

Berry Lemonade Quicksicles

The ultimate summer treat!

Serves 3 → Total Time: 10 minutes

You’ll Need

1–2 strawberries

1 tbsp (15 mL) blueberries

²/³ cup (150 mL) lemonade (see cook’s tip)

Cook’s Tip

Want an adult version of this frozen treat?

Replace the lemonade with Moscato wine. The wine makes the ice pops less firm compared to the lemonade version, so it’s best to enjoy them right away.

Directions

1. Thinly slice the strawberries with the Egg Slicer Plus®

2. Place 2 blueberries and 2 slices of strawberries against the walls of each well of the Quicksicle Maker

3. Pour the lemonade into the wells and freeze until set.
