IGW1000v2 Residential Switch The Icotera IGW1000v2 is a fully featured Layer 2 gateway, with an advanced feature set. IGW1000v2 is targeted towards open access networks, and in general, operators with a layer 2 demarcation point.

The IGW1000v2 features all the must-haves: • Gigabit forwarding • Optical auto detection (100BaseBX10/20, 1000BaseBX10/20) • Advanced CATV (optional) • IEEE802.3az EOAM But besides that, also more advanced features like: • Ethernet and IP filters (layer 2-4) • MAC limiting • IP source guard • Jumbo packets • Optical signal monitoring (CATV and DATA) • SNMP v1/v2 interface • VLAN forwarding/altering and filtering • Link propagation • Green (power management) All is done in hardware, resulting in blazing wirespeed gigabit transfer rates. Yet, the IGW1000v2 can boot in less than 2 seconds, giving the instant-on feeling for the end user.
