System introduction Modular 20, 125 and 200 follow up previous ACO Industries k.s. Modular systems. Those systems offer the first choice for performance and flexibility. Significant improvements include: ■ Vee-bottomed profiled channel for enhance flow efficiency at low rates. ■ Wide range of constant depth and sloping invert channels and accessories to cover 95% of all applications.

Typical Aplications Manufactured in corrosion resistant 304 and 316 grade austenitic stainless steel that is fully pickle passivated to remove embedded iron and chromium-depleted weld zones, outstanding performance and longevity is assured. Additonally, stainless steel can be 100% recycled if the products are ever removed or at the end its working life.

Wide range of grates available with loading class A15 to C250.

Gully tops are welded to the channel eliminating potential bug trap areas. The gully body can be connected to an ACO Eurogully body for installation convenience.

System is compatible with Aco Industries gully range (see table below)

Chamfered spigot outlets provide easy push-fit connection to drainage pipes.

110mm dia spigot outlets with an in-line foul air trap provide a 1.2 l/s flow capacity.

Spigot outlets can be supplied with a foul air trap which has a water trap depth of 50mm meeting the requirements of EN 1253. The foul air trap allows for an optional sieve to be used.

ACO Building Drainage Vinyl Seal速 Ideal for vinyl sheet flooring applications. It removes the cumbersome mechanical clamping mechanisms traditionally used. The 7 point sealing system is fully watertight and has been used successfully in hundreds of applications internationally. NBR Infill Edge The underside of the channel is infilled with a NBR strip to provide additional strength in dense traffic areas and to make installation easier. Suitable for Load Class C250 to EN 1433.

Modular Stainless Steel Channel drainage System Modular 20 - Technical data Characteristics Modular 20 is a simple, plotter system, which requires no grating, manufactured from 1,5mm thick austenitic stainless steel in grades 304 and 316. Modular 20 is ideal for wash-down applications or as a breakwater between designated
wet and dry areas. The system is capable of withstanding heavy wheel loads and it is available with channel edge details suitable for various floor finishes. 20 mm aperture at the top of the channel presents no problems to pedestrian wheelchair or trolley traffic. The continu-

Step 10 – Sealing A mastic sealant should be provided between the edge of the channel and floor typically 8 – 10mm wide and 10 – 15mm deep. In some cases it may be necessary to apply a suitable primer to the stainless steel before applying the sealant. The sealant manufacturers’ advice should be sought for each individual application. Step 11 – Grating Installation Spacing bars with the channel are provided to give stiffness and rigidity during manufacture, site handling and installation. They also prevent closure of the grating aperture during the concreting phase of installation.
