This is a candid photograph (retrieved through Google Images) of what seems to be a newlywed couple, possibly at their reception.

{

The man has his head thrown back and his arm in the air, something that is often associated with intense, spontaneous mirth. He isn’t worried about his suit getting wrinkled, or that fact that he might be in imminent danger of getting champagne spilled on him. It looks like he is reaching for his new wife’s shoulder to share in his joy with her.

{

The woman is smiling as well. Her mouth is open wide in what is probably a distinctive laugh as loud as her husband’s. She is also leaning into him; the couple clearly shares a sense of familiarity. Based on the fact that there is only one chair back evident in the photograph and their proximity, she is probably sitting on his lap.

This couple seems like a happy one. They share in their humor; they are laughing and smiling at the same thing. In this photo they are engaging in haptics, or physical touch. (IE she is sitting on his lap, he is reaching for her shoulder.) They are also clearly communicating how much they love each other and how (emotionally) close they feel; he is reaching out to hold her, and she is leaning into him. Both are careless about how they might be wrinkling their wedding finery, something that others might be more careful of.
