Unexpected Welcome Â

CHARLES CHAIR Light and elegant, soft and comfy, the Charles Chair by Marcel Wanders is a triumph of geometrical forms that interact to create a harmonious silhouette, in which the seat is marginally tilted backward by the long-legged frame. This slightly uplifted posture generates an illusion of motion that adds to its graceful flair.

The floor lamp’s lean aluminum body is really multifunctional with its towering two meters and all-embracing light beams, the tallest shade projecting light towards the ceiling while the wider shade acts as the perfect reading lamp. And what about the two other shades? The lowest is no shade … but a surprisingly useful side table. Perfect to support a laptop or your favorite drink, it’s always in the spotlight!

COPPELIA By Arihiro Miyaki

The Coppelia Ballerina' traces, with sinuous movements, a delicate after-image in the air, which inspires the fluid motion in the design of Miyake’s Coppelia Suspended Lamp. The graceful dance, staged by the three-dimensionally crossed wire structure, leads the spectator to dozens of glowing LED lights, which define the contour and the magical glow of Miyake's new interpretation of a classic chandelier.

RAIMOND LIGHT By Raimond Puts

A spherical design comprised of delicate stainless steel bands and studded with tiny LED lights. In the floor version, Raimond’s sparkling globe rests gingerly on a stand made from slender oak sticks, appearing to hover just above it, rather than resting on it.

Scribble Rugs A series of colourful, handdrawn scribbles decorate these seven rugs. The irregularly shaped pieces are like enlarged sketches to decorate your living room floor, with every pencil line visible.

SEASON CHAIR Pierro Lissoni

Composed of two perfectly smooth and rounded distinct forms the vertical rectangular back support appears to rest against one of the cube’s faces, the upholster y is ingeniously wrapped and tucked around both elements. SEASON CHAIR is an outstanding example of contemporar y craft that defines classical modernity.

FAYLAND Originally conceived by David Chipperfield for the Fayland House – a family house in the English countryside – the table Fayland elegantly highlights linear forms and a clear structural concept. The construction details are the key to this elegant and rigorous design: a horizontal bar with a central support gives solidity to the structure while the top continues beyond the legs to allow more space for the chairs.

SPAN

Balanced from two suspension points, the wings of the X-‐shaped light efficiently direct light to the table top as well as producing subtle ambient light for the ceiling, avoiding any glare.

NORTH Emitting beautiful atmospheric light, NORTH is a sculptural floor and table light with distinct underlying simplicity. Reduced to a core circular shape, the light playfully signifies abstract geometry or lunar phases, changing its appearance depending on the viewer’s perspective.

PROFIL

Profil is a sculpturally appealing shelf design from Jörg Schellmann for E15. Evoking associations with minimal art, the wall mounted shelf is produced in one piece of aluminum by way of extrusion; a process used to create objects of a continuous cross-‐sectional profile, forming finished parts with excellent surface quality. Profil is available with in a selection of colours as well as two size options.
