POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Accounting Assistant is to support the Chief Financial Officer with the accounting and administrative duties of the Corporate office, much of which is of a sensitive and confidential nature.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of personnel so classified. 1. Process Accounts Payable invoices and payments. 2. Assist in Accounts Receivable monitoring and collection. 3. Process monthly client billing. 4. Reconcile Expense Reports and the related receipts. 5. Prepare financial analyses of General Ledger Accounts 6. Assist CFO in monthly project, financial and operations reporting. 7. Handle and/or administer confidential documents. 8. Assist with Deltek Vision reporting and training. 9. Perform general administrative duties as needed (arrange courier shipments, manage office supply inventory, coordinate office equipment maintenance.) 10. Have knowledge of KLMK organization, policies, practices and personnel in order to carry out responsibilities

GENERAL BACKGROUND AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1. Two-year business school. 2. 3 to 5 years of work experience. 3. Excellent proofreading and grammar skills required.

4. Proven ability in planning, organizing and implementing work priorities. 5. Proven ability to perform a variety of critical and often confidential tasks with constantly changing priorities. 6. Proven ability to meet deadlines, carry through assignments and exhibit accuracy and neatness. 7. Proven ability to interact, develop and maintain a positive working relationship with personnel on all levels, both within the company and with clients. 8. Strong attention to detail 9. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and terminology. 10. Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.) 11. Deltek Vision software experience preferred 12. Proficiency in operation of standard office equipment.
