Town House This project, we were given a city-esqe site with two town houses surounding the site in the middle. I changed the flow of the space and manipulated light to create a pleasing space for one to live. I created custom components in Revit to achieve the light quality that space desired. Besides a couple bathrooms and closets, every space in the building recieves a sufficient amount of daylight.

Multi-Family Residential For this project, we were given a very interesting site that was directly adjacent to the Mass Ave train stop on the Orange Line. It also had incredible views of the boston skyline and the institutions on Hunntington Ave. This is what formed the design for my residential project. The last major decision I made was to place the vertical circulation closest to the abrupting noise the orange line made.

Heavy barrier and vertical circulation dissipate the sound of the train.
Open vegetated space for apartment residents.
These two views open up the site to the city, my building enhances these two views.

Museum Of The Senses The Museum of the Senses project was different than any other we have been assigned so far in school. We were assigned to think purely metaphisically and the role that senses play in one’s life. I chose to focus on the difference of your senses in a chaotic space and in a calm space, and the transition between the two.

The Ice House The Ice House was an administration and educational building for the New England Conservatory. I wanted the project to be a beacon on the city for the NEC. The other NEC buildings were stone, beige buildings that blend in with the other buildings around the site. I incorporated a modern deisgn that maximized natural sunlight and incorporated all of the required program for the project.
