Rainy Nights

Page 1

I have no idea when my facination with the rain began or when I started to constantly use it as the backdrop for a lot of my short stories along with the night time. Something about the rain at night seems so mysterious and out of reach, yet I feel connected to this specific scene over and over again in my thoughts. I like to imagine what people do on rainy nights, are they alone or with loved ones? Do they feel productive (like me) or lazy? Something about how the lights are reflected onto the wet streets and how tiny rain droplets stick to the windows of establishments brings comfort to my heart and connects me to a time when I used to race the raindrops on the car window during long trips.
