CONNECT WITH US! KROCPHOENIX.ORG

Greetings friends, When we think of winter, we think of animals going into hibernation, bitter cold keeping the average person huddled indoors, and plants withering away in the dark, cold days hoping to spring to life again in the later months. In most parts of our nation, that is what winter is, but in our great state of Arizona winter is the season of beauty. The harsh desert sun takes a break and life abounds all around us. Succulents, snapdragons, and flowering desert plants begin to display their beauty for all to see. The mountains come alive with families hiking their trails. It truly is a season of life in a cold and dark world. It is in this same season in which Jesus was born. He came into a harsh world void of light and hope and offered not only life but abundant life, fulfilling life, and eternal life. Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” KJV The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Centers celebrates the birth of Christ through worship and through our service to our community. You will see bell ringers out at the stores collecting money for our many programs. You may see us at the mall collecting toys for boys and girls who are looking forward to a joy-filled Christmas morning. We will be out on Christmas day feeding those in need and loving them in Jesus’ name. We here are the Phoenix Kroc Center are a family and during this season of need and this season of life, we are the hands and feet of Jesus serving those in need. Sincerely, Captain Dustin Rowe
