A cage constructed out of wood and wire mesh or any other material to keep and accommodate domestic or pet rabbits is referred to as Rabbit Hutches. Rabbits are adorable little buns with fluffy bodies. They can be raised both indoor and outdoor. But most of the time it depends on the weather conditions and other circumstances that where they should be raised. Though it would vary from place to place and house to house, we would discuss some of the fundamentals of raising a rabbit indoor and outdoor. Outdoor Rabbit Hutches Rabbits need some traditional dwelling hutches when raised outdoors. The outdoor rabbit hutches come in wide range of styles and sizes.  As there is no limitation on space usage, these hutches can even be constructed large enough to convert them into children's playhouses and convertible sheds. Outdoor rabbit hutches are mostly expensive as they are big and are most of the time equipped with several facilities for the bunny. Although the wire cage is a cheaper alternative, wooden hutches must be preferred over wired or metal constructed hutches as they are durable and manage to resist intense heat and cold weather. The size of outdoor rabbit hutches usually should be large, as it would render them a spacious home to hop around. Moreover, having a large hutch would also contribute enough space for storing plenty of food and water. Making a separate poop space for them inside the hutch would ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation. Indoor Rabbit Hutches Indoor hutches mostly resemble a cage-like structure. With size being one of the major constraints, the indoor hutches have to be kept small in size and also light weighted. Forcing these little creatures to live in the small cage would develop a possibility of them acquiring behavioral or physical disorders. The basic nature of rabbits is to jump, run and move about in a large area. Therefore, they must be presented with such surroundings on a daily basis. Moreover, rabbits demand a covered area in order to retreat themselves and feel safe when they get frightened. So, if you were thinking of keeping your rabbits free in your house then please make sure you keep a box like a hutch for them to relax. And if you let your rabbit loose to run around the house then make sure they do not go near cables, as they love to chew. Though they can be kept indoors in a simple wired, wooden or metal cage with a solid base and inside it lots of hay for them to feel comfortable. Make sure their cage is kept in a cool and dim area for them to rest without any distress.Â
