the gerber center-drive is a new multitool made in  the united states that will definitely challenge the status quo. why? each part of this multitool functions as if it were a separate tool.
The thing that makes the Center-Drive so remarkable is the full-sized screwdriver on the centre-axis of the tool that will enable you to use it as a regular screwdriver. Ergonomic, centred and without using a driver extender. Also great: the Center-Drive takes standard 6 mm bits, so you can use your own bits for any task. Wash your vegetables and remove the bottom of your courgette, carrot or cucumber. Anything that doesn’t fit in the Spirelli should be trimmed.
Rinse off the Spirelli after use. As such you prevent any residue from drying up and being very difficult to remove.

dishes. I use kitchen knives on a daily basis. However, I need to be frank here and tell you that, until recently, I had never sharpened them. So they were far from sharp.
I eventually decided to try out the Skerper whetstones. Working with a whetstone is a wonderful, artisanal type of work which really spoke to me. It is sustainable, cheap and simply great fun to do. When you think of a fixed knife you think of the KA-BAR 1217. Whether you have heard of the name or not: this design is so popular and recreated so often we all recognize it.

soldier needs great tools. Period. So when during the Second World War the USMCmarines were looking for a great tool, the only obvious option was the KA-BAR 1217. It was something they could rely on in dark times. The marines made the right choice because as the war continued the knife also found its way to many other troops.
