Versions of the CELPIP Test There are two versions of CELPIP Test: 1. CELPIP-General Test 2. CELPIP-General LS Test CELPIP-General Test : The CELPIP-General Test assesses practical Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills, and is accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as proof of English proficiency for permanent residency in Canada. Other organizations that accept the CELPIPGeneral Test include the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (RECBC) and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
CELPIP-General LS Test: The CELPIP-General LS Test evaluate practical Listening and Speaking proficiency, and is accepted by IRCC as proof of English language proficiency for Canadian citizenship. CELPIP Test is totally computer based test, providing test takers the chance to finish all test elements in one sitting with no further appointments, interviews, or test sittings needed. CELPIP Test Takers use a electronic device and keyboard to finish the Reading and Writing elements of the test, and a laptop electro-acoustic transducer and receiver to finish the Listening and Speaking elements.
