Beginning her fitness career as a personal trainer, reaping the rewards from motivating and inspiring others to be the best version of themselves she moved through the ranks at Orangetheory Fitness from manager to Regional Director and finally franchisee, Rachel never lost sight of her ultimate goal. Her brief stints in marketing, management, and outside sales only further strengthened her love of fitness and expanded her skill set in the highly competitive fitness space. Ever since Shannon was a young girl, she had a passion for empowering women. Growing up, she knew that she wanted to be an entrepreneur. After taking her first class over 10 years ago, she knew this was something different and that was where her Pure Barre journey began. Shannon now owns and operates both the Carrollwood and Brandon locations. Shannon’s studios have frequently been ranked in the Top 10 in the nation for service and retail sales, which she contributes to her passionate team and the loyal community of women. Pure Barre is much more than 50 minutes of lifting seats, toning thighs and strengthening cores, it’s a family of likeminded women. Shannon graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degree from University of Florida and she currently sits on the Board for Pace Center for Girls. When Shannon is not working you can find her spending time with her husband, 3-year-old son and bulldogs.
