"Hi!
I'm
Angela!
Photographer/your future bestie! When I am not doing boudoir sessions or photographing weddings over at Hitches and Unions, I am drinking coffee and hanging out with my husband and two cats! Boudoir is my absolute passion. Not only are these sessions incredibly empowering they are SO FUN. So, you get some sexy AF photos AND you get to have fun in the process!"

This session was one of the first I have done outside my studio! It was an in-home boudoir session! We did this session in Camille’s home. It was her idea to go for a natural look, really showcasing her gorgeous freckles! Boudoir sessions don’t always have to be glam and glitzy. They can be raw and real, and that is why I love this session so much! □

Growing
up in the 70s exposed me to
a certain visual ethos of the era. At its best it was the era of Chanel No 5, of Movado timepieces, of the Concorde, and its dark sister the Blackbird. As a man inspired by the beauty of the female form it became inevitable that I would eventually start merging these elements into a world that soars above an increasingly fallen world.

I
come from the field of painting
and drawing that I have been practicing for over twenty years. But twenty years is long, even when you draw naked women. Photography became a logical continuation of this practice about 7 years ago. Having never practiced the picture of my life, not even with a compact (if yes, it is possible), I first bought a used digital SLR; and photographed apples and cups, etc., just to master the technical rules, in short the perfect exercises of "Reflex for Dummies".
I chained with portraits and bodies less and less dressed over time, to strip them completely. I photographed relentlessly the photos of other photographers of which I was a fan and now, and even if I'm far away, I hang on! I always keep the image of charm and the female curve in the line of sight.

My work is mainly focused on charming photography. If I choose to go towards this kind of clichÊ, it is of course in an aesthetic and artistic step but not only: I like to believe that these photographs bring something to these women, that they help them to like their body , to gain confidence in them. There is a real therapeutic aspect to the work we do together. Even though I work with professional models, the majority of my clients are amateurs or semi-professionals. These are everyday women, often mothers, who have a well-established professional and personal life. I attach a lot of importance to the psychological relationship and trust, this is part of at least 50% of the photo shoot. I do not count the time spent, the main thing is to make beautiful shots‌‌.
23
The other 50%. Shooting and post-production. Digital photography has changed the game a lot. Previously, everything was based on shooting, this is no longer the case. It is always possible to bet everything on the spot, but I think it's a mistake. the current photographer who does not have a vision of the finished image, post-processed and filtered now of the "click" would deprive himself of a field of considerable possibilities. This is also the case of retouching. To abuse it would be detrimental to the photo, but a minimum has only a beneficial effect, as long as it does not distort the model, nor transform it radically. I do not pretend to be a photographer, I make photos, shades. Hoping that they please the greatest number. But it is above all a passion, and having another job, I do not necessarily have financial constraints or time, which is an advantage‌..
Model: Elodie I do not foresee anything or not much during the photo shoot. I prefer to work on improvisation and make different choices with the model. Shootings are also most often at their homes, or in places they are familiar with. It is less practical photographically speaking, but much more pleasant for the model, which is in its environment, which has its make-up, its clothes nearby, and it greatly facilitates relaxation and security. â–Ą At pleasure S.Bast 24

Stace Bernard
My
name
is
Stace
Bernard. People ask what or who inspired you to become a photographer? My mom had vitiligo, which is an auto-immune disorder. This resulted in my mom suffering from a lower self-esteem than what she deserved. As a result, she avoided pictures that showed her natural beauty. Fast forward to today, I am motivated by her experiences to capture the best version of one’s self. And ever since I have been perfecting my craft, leveraging the best of what I have learned against the best features of my subjects. I started in the lane of boudoir where I learned strategies around lighting, posing and communicating with clients in a way that made them feel comfortable and able to project naturally. From there I moved to studio portraits, art nudes, fine arts and finally at my genre of choice, glamour photography.
The perfect subject is the one who is available. For me, I prefer to work with experienced models so that I can focus on the creative and technical aspects of photography. Aside from that, I don’t have a preference. Age, race, shape…. none of that matters to me. My goal is to capture the best version of the person in front of me and present that version to my clients. A client should expect to have a lot of fun in the most laid-back and professional environment anywhere to be found. I tend to play music and since I am eclectic in my taste for music, I can usually adapt to any genre. A client should also expect direction as needed and a healthy dose of feedback, which I also solicit. The art we create is a collaborative effort and I require input to deliver the desired output. 32

My biggest pet peeve by far is when someone arrives late. I stay pretty booked and tend to book multiple shoots. So, when someone is late, it creates a domino effect that can impact the shoot in question. My second pet peeve is when clients show up unprepared (nails chipped, partially painted, etc.). â–Ą

Richard Mills In 2010 I found a 1-day course with Bluedog Photography on how to use your DSLR that including blurring a waterfall and shoot fireworks, I was in. This was the lightbulb moment as a few days later I was at the river shooting the city skyline at dusk complete with tripod and remote cable. In 2013 I was living in a very remote location and found I was bored with the place and not shooting much, I used to see a heavily tattooed girl in the coffee shop most Sunday mornings and thought can you go up to someone in the street and ask them if they model, I decided no for me. I was also interested in looking into taking people images when travelling and thought doing some portrait shoots would help develop my skills.
A
hobbyist photographer that
enjoys creating themed portrait shoots often inspired to old movies, Hitchcock, Raymond Chandler and sometimes music videos. Have expanding from Vintage, Retro and Pinup shoots into Fetish Fashion and some Art Nude over the past 2 years. My interested in photography come from my love of travel and back in 2006 I invested in a Nikon D50 DLSR, it spent 4 years in the loft as I never had the time or skills to use it effectively……
A friend put me in touch with an ex housemate of hers, Meagan, who did some modelling and the rest is history, I found I really enjoy the shoot, connecting with someone through the use of a camera, collaborating to create something. A few months later I was watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the opening scenes gave me the idea for another shoot, fortunately the same model could make the look work and we had another shoot. This was the second lightbulb moment in that I had found my motivation……
42
43
Since then it built slowly at first with me shooting 14 times between September 2013 and December 2015, then it just took off and in 2016, 17 and 18 I completed 15 shoots each year. I shot with Dani Divine for the first time in 2016 and through her connections was published for the first time in “Coffins and Cuties”, a publication I was unaware of. I have had a few more sets published including 2 covers, but it is not something I actively peruse due to other time pressures. I have a very large list of shoot ideas, and look to develop a working relationship with some models that are my go to for certain styles, as I have expanded my themes I have had to find new models, I have been very fortunate to work with some beautiful models who are also fantastic people to spend time developing creative projects with. Special mentions should go to Cherry Buttons, Patootie St Pie, Lady Medusa, Dani Divine, Laura Slater, Monika Lara Smith, Marie Jean Taylor and Ruby Alexia. I am happy for models to contact me regarding shoots on the basis if you contact me it is a shoot done on a TFP basis. □

Magdalena Iskra
is an award-winning
boudoir photographer Chicago.
based
in
She grew up in Poland where she was first introduced to the fascinating world of beauty, modelling and photography. Throughout her life, Magdalena was searching for ways of artistic expression and creativity. As a teenager, she was passionate about baton twirling and was awarded the Best Baton performance award.
54
Her photography adventure began on the other side of the camera. She started out as a model. She was also engaged in planning and designing photo shoots. Eventually, Magdalena became a finalist for Miss Poland beauty contest where she was recognized as Miss Talent. This recognition had given her an opportunity to organize beauty events in her hometown. For five consecutive years, Magdalena successfully organized and managed beauty events for young ladies in her city.
Believe it or not, despite her passionate involvement in the beauty world, she secretly dreamt of becoming a police officer. Magdalena completed a degree in forensic social rehabilitation and wanted to join the police force. Her future, however, had something bigger for her in the store. Magdalena moved to Chicago where she met her husband Marcin. Together they fell in love with photography and quickly became a husband and wife team for wedding photography.
55
It was actually the wedding photography that laid the foundation for boudoir as many brides were asking about it. Before Magdalena started to offer boudoir sessions in her West Loop studio, she had invested a lot of time in her photography training and education. Her prior modelling experience has also come in handy as it helped her sharpen the vision of a perfect photo session. It is Magdalena's true passion to make every woman feel the best version of herself in front of the camera. She strives to create a place where intimacy, art and photography all meet together, and to reveal the natural beauty and sensuality of female body. Magdalena currently lives in Chicago with her husband Marcin and beautiful baby girl, Mila. â–Ą

Girl with a Pearl Thong BRACLI & G BLACK S Bracli Lingerie Spain
(Giveaway prized given by Brigade Mondaine)
If you are a like me, a lingerie addict who buys her own undergarments and works hard for her money, a giveaway is a dream. And sometimes dreams come true.
Brigade Mondaine, a Paris based lingerie curator who ships internationally, was having one. They have incredible deals in their sale section, and delivery is quick with no extra custom fees. I have been watching them for years for they hold such a wide range of luxurious lingerie brands. This is how i discovered Ruban Noir and Opaak amongst others. But more precisely this is how i became personally acquainted with Bracli Lingerie.
64
The giveaway contest was offering a lucky winner a beautiful pearl thong. I presumed a new sensory experience: a thong able to give clitoral stimulation as the pearl string attaches from the pubic bone to the tail bone. A high waist lace knickers with a satin bow in the back to attach (or detach) a naughty precious string. Brigade Mondaine' representative contacted me via Instagram DM. A lingerie miracle had just happened, I was so very excited. 3 days later the precious package was delivered to my box.
Rapid, eco-friendly, luxurious and naughty. A personalized love note written in gold, a satin sachet containing the item and a gift signature choker. It looked and felt expensive. I was in heaven. A lingerie gift.
65
Instead of wondering how this pearl thong worked, I tied it up and tried it on right away. omg! A label is needed: "Wear with caution". Stimulation cannot be denied. Just the sight of it leaves no one unaffected. White pearls soaked in flesh. Made for love. Self-love or the kind that bask in kink and class.
But i still wondered about the name. I experienced first-hand the arousal and sexual excitement, but why the G mention? So, I searched and found that from the creators: https://www.bracli.com/en/v/finding-your-g-spot/ I was shocked and intrigued but that’s material for another story
L
Lingerie has proven itself as such a learning tool. Teaching my preferences in tactile sensation, my desire process and the pleasure of investing in myself, and also the intense intimacy that results by daring to nourish my passions.
Thank you Brigade Mondaine I hope I discover more epic lingerie with you.
