Book Cover The Metamorphosis
Insects are attracted to light like the protagonist of Kafka‘s novel The Metamorphosis is attracted to becoming a vermin. The cover composition for Kafka‘s novel merges photography and editorial work. Choosing photography as design tool helps creating a more realistic mood which is shown in the novel as well. Addtitonally, Kafka classes among modern authors. The cover itself has a reduced and simple look through the black background and classy typography which is giving a mysterious look and catches the vierwer‘s interest by using the photo of a fly sitting on a shining lamp.

COCKAYNE SOUP CD Cover
PROJECT 02
HANDMADE PHOTOGRAPHY EDITORIAL
All that glitters is not gold. This idiiom description fits the best to this beautiful and likewise ugly cup. The gold and glittered cup is decorated with roses and covered with thumbtacks and wire and filled up with butts which gives the cup‘s gorgeous appearnce a bad aftertaste. This selfmade object radiates a dreamy and artistic mood mixed with the bad side of drugs. This mix represents the content of the Gazettes‘ Cockayne Soup the best.

WAX WORKS
Movie Poster
PROJECT 03
HANDMADE PHOTOGRAPHY EDITORIAL
The three Wax Works movie posters are based on A.M. Burrage‘s same-named short story written in 1931. Although they show the same topic, they are still looking individual, referring to different story aspects by using various methods. The first poster on the left shows a selfmade origami skeleton hand, slowly covered with wax mixed with blood grabbing at newspaper pieces. By looking carefully the arrangement of the objects form a sand glass. A latex selfmade mask takes the attention in the second poster. At last, a photo of a handmade latex wound fixed on the neck of a person form the design of the third poster.

Classy, elegant - yet modern. This slogan leads to a new mens‘ fragrance called Gentleman. The blurb pointed it out: Since John Steed played the agent in the legendary 60‘s TV Series „The Avengers“ the portrait of the Gentleman itself has been formed. One man unites manners, character and charm wearing a hat and an umbrella paired with a black and white suit. On the top he has a special aura around that both girls and boys are falling for. Join the ranks of this timeless elite. It includes men like Roger Moore, George Clooney through to David Beckham and many more. 30

Due to this exhibiton I designed a poster, a flyer and tickets The look of Blanked has a clear and reduced color arrangement additionally playing with the forms of square and triangle as kind of brand recognition. Also, it gives a preview and builds interest by using a photo of an exhibited work. 36
