We are officially in the Fall Market and with that brings changing trends to be aware of. As the weather cools down and holiday season is around the corner, the willingness for buyers to begin their search or sellers looking to put their home on the market and move during this time becomes quite scarce. Due to these conditions, we do tend to see a seasonal slowdown usually for the next 3-4 months until mid January or February. With this in mind and prices coming off of their summer peaks, buyers can tend to find some bargains during this period. If I am a seller that needs to sell, I want to continue to make sure that I am accurately pricing the property to avoid sitting throughout the winter and accumulating days on the market. If I don't necessarily need to sell at the moment, I want to take these next couple months to begin preparing for the process so that I am ready to go in 2019.
