Our Gifts To You
"Freely you have received, freely give.” Many of you will read this article between the American holiday of Thanksgiving and the worldwide holiday of Christmas, both days of being thankful and generous. “Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.” 2 And Christmas – “Christ’s mass” – celebrates the Greatest Gift of all. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” 3
