What is SharePoint 2010? SharePoint 2010 is a web-based enterprise collaborative environment, provides a full set of flexible tools to create a stand-alone site; or a multi-site infrastructure. These sites allow organizations, departments, colleagues; and teams to create, manage and share data across Intranet or Extranet site – even with external partners.
SharePoint 2010 – Sites SharePoint 2010 Sites are fully integrated with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.); and works well with other technologies, legacy programs and external data sources. With secure, permission enabled cross-browser support, organized teams will maintain access to their sites, tools and content inside the office (Intranet) or remotely.
SharePoint 2010 – Composites SharePoint 2010 Composites provides “out-of-the-box” building blocks to assemble, connect, and configure collaborative business solutions. From simple sites to complex applications, Stakeholders can rapidly respond to specific business needs with custom solutions.
SharePoint 2010 – Insights SharePoint 2010 Insights provides Stakeholders with the business information needed to make good decisions. SharePoint 2010 – Search SharePoint 2010 Search offers intranet search, people search, and a platform to build search-driven solutions and applications – all on a single, cost-effective infrastructure.
SharePoint 2010 – Content SharePoint 2010 Content makes Enterprise Content Management (ECM) easy for everyone. Combining traditional content management, social-networking capabilities, and powerful search, it is as natural to manage as it is to use. Based on organizational policies and procedures, it is simple to quickly set up basic content compliance standards.

NATO Consultation Command and Control Agency NATO Agency Updates Website to Reflect Technology Expertise, Support Procurement The NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) needed to improve its website to better reflect its position as the core NATO technology provider. The agency relied on an aging website platform that required a manual process for content updates. NC3A chose Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for Internet Sites as the foundation for a new website that provides prospective technology partners, NATO customers, and others with current information about the agency’s services.
