James Montgomery Flagg said “ The only difference between a fine artist and an illustrator is that the latter can draw, eats three square meals a day, and can afford to pay for them. Nowadays every second graphic designer is illustrator. Why? First of all,the boundaries between the professions of
ILLUSTRATION
illustrator, designer and contemporary artist are blurred, you can call yourself an artist, but being able to design furniture for somebody and you can also be a very good graphic designer, but love to draw and use it in your project. Second reason is that illustration can range from a simple black-and-white cartoon to a full-color billboard and beyond. As for me, illustration is a good way to change your mind, try some new materials and technics and of course just please yourself with doodlig something.
Having the ability to travel around the world is one of the most amazing things in my life, there are so many awesome things to learn and to draw.

Ilustrations for The Wallace Collection
The Wallace Collection is a display of art works collected during 18th and 19th Centuries by the Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, son of the fourth Marquess. The collection is arranged over twenty five galleries in an elegant london town house, ten minutes walk from Baker St tube station.
For initial research for my illustration project I took a look around the collection, soak up the atmosphere and make some sketches.
After that I shaped an overall concept by focussing on a specific aspects of the collection,I understood that there are a lot of porcelain, furniture and armory in this collection.
And developed a three interconnected images around this theme, that could be used for promotional purposes - e.g. cards, tshirts, posters, mugs, tea towels (or other).
Ok, now you could draw something here! (please,do not be shy)
