"In the heart of Bela Krajina, in south east Slovenia, we have designed and constructed a wonderful 'Glamping' resort, consisting of small wooden houses, glamorous tents and a natural swimming pool. Built in a wonderful setting, on raised ground where the old Manor House of Krasinec once stood, the resort sits on a hill just a stone's throw away from the River Kolpa, with stunning views of both the Slovenian and Croatian countryside. Sadly the Manor is no longer there but is an ideal location for our new, 100% natural resort.

The Kolpa Resort is a perfectly located glamping destination in Slovenia, featuring wooden glamping houses and three luxury glamping tents that cater to families, couples and groups. Each wooden house features fine linen rustic, but chic furnishings. The glamping tents offer the same basic features (fine linen, rustic furnishings, air conditioning, a private heated bathroom and toilet, and a styled kitchen), but with the added charm of staying in a real tent, with only a layer of canvas between you and the great outdoor. After a day's worth of hiking the hillocks, biking around the Kolpa valley, or simply sunbathing and swimming in our pool, you are certain to enjoy a relaxing shower in the privacy of your heated master bathroom. All houses and tents at our Resort have 220 V power.

Each glamping tent features fine linens, 2 bedrooms, a dining room, chic rustic furnishings, a private master bathroom, cooling fans, air conditioning, and a cosy, fully furnished kitchen. What are the differences between the glamping houses and glamping tents? While each of our accommodation options provides the same unique level of luxury and adventure, each has its own distinct charm and makes for an unforgettable holiday experience. Is there an age limit for children staying in resort? Children of all ages are welcome.
Which accommodation cater to families? Both glamping accommodation types offer multiple two-bedroom tent suites that can accommodate up to five people and each glamping house can accommodate up to four people.
How far are the tents and houses from the main Village? Can we walk? Our resort is in an idyllic settings, a 10-minute walk (800 m) from the Village or river Kolpa. The nearest grocery store is only 1.75 km away.
Can I stay in both a tents and a wooden house in the same week? If you can't decide between a house or a tent, of course you can try both. Why not stay four days in a luxury tent with amenities like a kitchen, own bathroom, air conditioning, spacious deck, and then switch to a wooden house for three days, where you'll rough it like a royal. It's like going on two vacations at the same resort ‌ in the same week.
What months are the luxury tents and glamping houses available for booking? Booking is available frome early May through late September.
Where are we located? Our resort is located in southeast Slovenia, you can take A2 motorway from Ljubljana towards Zagreb, exit at 'Novo Mesto-vzhod' towards Metlika and follow the route 105 through Novo Mesto (over the Krka) and then over the Gorjanci hills.
Can my group or family reserve an entire glamping resort ? Whether you are planning a family reunion, milestone birthday, anniversary celebration, corporate retreat or any other special event, you can reserve an entire glamping resort just for your group. You'll have exclusive access to all three tents and five glamping houses, fire pit, common areas for hanging out. To reserve an entire resort for your group, we recommend making a reservation at least six months in advance.
Where do we eat and what's the food like? Each luxury glamping tent has its own private dining room and kitchen. Breakfast can be served every morning, consisting of fresh baked bread and local meat / dairy produce and fruit brought to your tent or house in a basket. For lunch and dinner you can go for an easy stroll to the restaurant located in the Village, 500 m away.
