Warmth & Light Natural Soy Candle
Candles are classic. This easy candle recipe is scented with your choice of natural essential oils, and clean-burning soy wax is an eco-friendly alternative to paraffin. An unbleached cotton wick ensures the most natural, clean-burning candle possible. Beautiful and elegant. Simple as that.
YIELDS 220ML JAR

1 ½ cups soy wax 120 drops essential oil (such as peppermint) candle wick
putty wick placer 220 mL heat proof container
DIRECTIONS: With putty, attach the bottom of the wick to the center of your chosen heat-proof container, such as a 220 mL glass jar. Gently melt the wax in an old pot that will not be used for anything else. While wax is melting (do not allow it to overheat), center the wick in the container with a wick placer. Place the canister on a flat, heat-safe surface. It can help to lay down old rags or paper towels to catch potential spills. Once the wax is fully melted, remove from heat. Add essential oils. Carefully pour melted wax into the prepared vessel. Let stand until completely cool and firm, or overnight. Lay scissors flat across the top of the canister and trim the wick. Decorate the container as desired.
