KONICA MINOLTA CUSTOMER EDUCATION Customer Education is the Konica Minolta product family for training services targeting customers and end users. The flexible online approach provides operators and IT support staff with the exact knowledge they need to get the most out of their newly acquired products. By enabling our customers to take maximum advantage of their Konica Minolta product, we provide them with an optimal basis to conduct profitable business. Customer Education consists of three product groups: – iTraining Multifunctionals provides introductions on how to operate Konica Minolta multifunctionals and printer drivers. – iTraining Applications provides introductions on how to operate Konica Minolta software applications. – iTraining Technology covers two knowledge areas relevant for Konica Minolta: Printing Essentials and Color Essentials. iTraining stands for flexible and easy access to training sessions via web browser. All training courses are available in multimedia format via Konica Minolta’s awardwinning eLearning platform, Mplus.

iTraining Printing Essentials iTraining Printing Essentials consists of 5 modules that instruct the IT support staff in essential aspects of printing technology:
iTRAINING TECHNOLOGY ONLINE, INDEPENDENT, EFFICIENT Especially designed for IT support staff, who also service printing devices, iTraining Technology gives access to some of the state-of-the-art training material used to instruct Konica Minolta service engineers. iTraining Technology includes two products to which access can be purchased: iTraining Printing Essentials and iTraining Color Essentials. – With this training, users acquire product-independent basic knowledge that enables them to optimize their own service activities. – Students can take the training course independently on their computers at whatever time suits them best. The online training is always available* – all users need to do is log in and get started. – For convenient monitoring and enhanced student support, automatic manager reports and real-time notifications can be generated to facilitate efficient training control. – Once the student has qualified by taking exams, he is provided with access to a communication channel with an expert service contact of Konica Minolta. Here, the student can obtain advice on more advanced theoretical issues on the topics printing and color. * For the duration of the license contract
– Printer Basics 1 + 2 cover the basic principles of digital printing and explain how to use printers in the Windows environment. – All About Paper introduces different paper types and provides helpful facts from the production process to storage and handling. – Digital Copying – Technical Realization explains the working principles of a multifunctional copier/ printer, introduces file formats and printer languages. – Making Routine Print Jobs Easier instructs on how to create efficient routine print jobs and take advantage of supporting Konica Minolta software tools.
iTraining Color Essentials iTraining Color Essentials comprises 3 modules on technical knowhow regarding: – Color Basics 1 + 2 cover the basics of chromatics, introduce various color systems and explain color matching on digital devices. – Color Copying – Technical Realization outlines the copying process on Konica Minolta MFPs and explains some of the technologies used. At the end of each module the student has to take an exam. When he has passed all exams for an iTraining Essential course, he will receive a corresponding certificate.
