A Highlander menu
from ENGUWalusia
The menu of the restaurant draws from the local traditions but modern touches and elements of European cuisine are visible as well. Delicious dishes make us go back to Krynica from the old times. All the dishes are made fresh from local, healthy ingredients from local suppliers.

Oscypek dominates in the section of starters – there is one roasted and served with cranberry or bacon. Homemade lard and Highlander bread are a must. Soups make the best first course – traditional broth, regional barberry with a smoked rib or żurek in the Krynica style with an egg and white sausage. The variety of main courses may make our heads spin. We can order a hamburger, trout, a pork chop or dumplings. There is also a loin of pork roasted on fried cabbage served with potatoes and buttermilk and bryndza sauce or beef cheeks in horseradish sauce. Real connoisseurs should try honey-beer braised ribs, tenderloin served with chanterelle sauce or local mutton roasted with potatoes. Incredible tastes and aromas. Classic apple pie or Pavlova will be a great dessert.
