Solar Building Design Project_March 2015
Collaborators: G. Pisani_D. Buontempo_S. Vasinton
The energy loads were calculated using a heating system with natural gas and a cooling system using electricity. The final value achieved for annual consumption is just slightly over the PassivHaus target, as seen below.
In order to minimise the energy consumption over the year, the use of PV panels and micro hydro power were analysed. Considering the climatic conditions, the use of rainwater recovery system was also added.
