MANUAL BREW COFFEE SET DESIGN FOR COFFEE SHOP SELF-SERVICE DINING EXPERIENCE MADE FROM CERAMIC AND WOOD UNDERGRADUATE FINAL THESIS Galene
Thecoffee.different
The consumption of coffee evolves throughout the wave of ages. Starting from the first wave, coffee was seen as a drink that should take no time to make, hence the popularity of instant coffee. From there rose complaints about instant coffee not tasting great, therefore birthing the second wave of coffee as well as coffee shop franchises that specialize in freshly made espresso-based drinks, such as Starbucks. In the third wave, we made a backtrack towards manually brewed coffee, no machines, just the handiwork of a human being with a manual brewer and a ritualistic experience. This study will focus on the development of a manual brewer that can bring a new experience to the users in this wave of
pour overs can be made using different materials, the most popular being ceramic for having the right amount of heat retention for a perfect cup of coffee. However, ceramics, when used for brewing, will transfer heat, and that can be a hazard to the user. Which brings us to the point of what material can make a good heat isolator: wood. This study will combine both materials to develop a manual brew coffee set design for a coffee shop self-service dining experience.
kinds of brewers that exist as of today can produce varying coffee tastes and aromas. To narrow it down, I have chosen the most popular type of manual brewer according to interviews with a few baristas and coffee enjoyers, the pour over, and that brewer will be developed further in this Furthermore, study.

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal 3’s boarding lounge has a total length of 2.4 Km from gate 1 to gate 28.
Distance
Even though the entrance to Terminal 3’s boarding lounge is located in the middle point (between gate 10 and 11), travel to gates below gate 6 and above gate 15 is still arduous work and takes time. The estimated time taken to walk from gate 11 to gate 1 or 28 is around 15 minutes.
From these problems, our team sees an opportunity to develop a personal transportation system for flight passengers within Terminal 3 to make indoor travel and luggage carrying easier and faster.
With gates at that distance, it is quite difficult to carry so much personal luggage especially when you are trying to catch your flight on time.

MOHOI Asia Internship Program 2021 Client: Stella’s Puff Pastry, Bandung
Working together with a local rattan crafter, we have brought our pastry lamp to life.
PASTRY-THEMED WORKING LAMP DESIGN FOR THE KITCHEN AREA
In this project, the client wanted a pastry-themed pendant lamp to be used in the bakery’s kitchen area.
To ensure the bakers get enough lighting, there has to be four lamps installed and the design of the lamp has to be able to enlighten a wide enough area while also giving off ambient lighting.

Although the number of recyclable items found in household waste bins are actually greater than we think, the awareness of recycling in Indonesia is still low. The first problem lies in the people’s knowledge of which items are recyclable and which are not, therefore leading to them throwing away their waste without sorting out recyclable items first. The second problem lies in where they should send their recyclable waste to so that it can be processed thoroughly. The last problem is how these people can recycle their waste since to date there are no official government recycling programs that could guide them.
Our team decided to create a mock up of a mobile application that will provide solutions to these problems. The app will be designed to inform people about what to recycle, where to recycle, and how to recycle using our designated waste pick-up and delivery system.

Cernunnos, often called “the horned one” is the god of beasts and wild spaces, as well as the mediator between humans and nature.
Cernunnos
Pendant design inspired by natural elements and the ancient Celtic mythology of Cernunnos.
This pendant is somewhat of a mediator between the wearer and nature, hence the overall organic shapes, the deer head, and the amethyst stones representing calmness.
