Revelstoke is the gateway to serious mountains, nestled into spectacular rainforests. Neither too remote nor too accessible, getting here is part of the adventure. Air: Land in either Calgary or Kelowna. There’s ground transfer between Kelowna International Airport and Revelstoke. Bus: The Stoke Shuttle provides multiple daily shuttle bus transfers from Kelowna International Airport to Revelstoke, book your seat at EverythingRevelstoke.com. Rider Express Transportation services Vancouver to Calgary daily, check out RiderExpress.ca for a schedule. Car: Revelstoke is 4.5 hours from Calgary and 6.5 hours from Vancouver on the Trans-Canada Highway. Budget for extra driving time in the winter, and book ahead to get winter tires on your rental vehicle. Winter tires are mandatory on BC highways October to April. While in Revelstoke: The Revelstoke Public Transit Service provides four routes across town. Pick up a rider’s guide or purchase a bus pass at City Hall. In winter, the Resort Shuttle will pick you up throughout town and deliver you gleefully to and from Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Many accommodations include free shuttle passes with your stay, be sure to ask. Local taxi service is also available.
