Invermere Boat Launch Our Invermere location is where you start your Invermere to Radium paddle, and where you can rent canoes, kayaks, hydro-bikes and paddle boards for a self-guided Columbia Wetlands paddle or a Lake Windermere paddle.
Kinsmen Beach At our Kinsmen beach location you can rent a variety of water crafts to paddle Taynton Bay, enjoy the beach and Columbia River Cafe on the water’s edge.

Invermere to Radium Paddle
Wetlands Paddle - Self-Guided Explore the pristine beauty of the wetlands. Rent a canoe, kayak, SUP or hydrobike on this self-guided paddle. Start and finish at the Invermere Launch.
Self-Guided Invermere to Radium Paddle Reservations recommended. On this 3-5 hour flat-water excursion, you can spend a leisurely morning or afternoon on the Columbia River exploring the local waterways, taking in the spectacular scenery and enjoying lunch or snacks on a sandbar or the shoreline along the way. The Columbia River Wetlands provide habitat for more than 250 species of birds: eagles, osprey and herons are commonly sighted throughout the year, as well as various species of wildlife. Pickup times in Radium are 1pm, 3pm & 5pm during high season, with reduced shuttles in the shoulder season, unless alternate arrangements have been made. Book by pick up time and arrive at our Invermere Launch location approx 4 hours earlier.
Price as per rental rates Wetlands Paddle - Guided The tour starts and ends at the Invermere Launch, reservations required. With a first rate view from your canoe, kayak or one of our big voyageur canoes, you will venture into the fertile Columbia Valley Wetlands. This 2 hour excursion takes you back into history. Learn of First Nations artifacts from over 900 years ago, about historical explorer David Thompson, and the trappers, settlers and miners who used this river route. You will discover facts about the river and wetlands, local birds, fish, reptiles and animals in the pristine Columbia Valley Wetlands. $54/person Children 5 - 15 years $30 Children 4 & under free Social Night - Self Guided 6:00pm - 8:00pm Wednesdays throughout the summer. Experience by paddle the pristine Columbia River waters, as seen first-hand by the First Nations people, just as they were when David Thompson travelled these placid waters. This 4 hour fun and family friendly trip starts in Invermere and will take you through the spectacular wetlands along the Columbia River to Radium. Paddle yourself in one of our recreational kayaks or canoes, or take your place alongside other paddlers in one of our big voyageur canoes. We will stop along the way to stretch our legs, so be sure to bring a snack to enjoy on the shoreline or at one of the beautiful sandbars.
