Hello The following work is a self promotion project that includes a logo and branding elements that come along to support it, I chose corals as a theme to develop my brand, not just as a graphic inspiration, but as a concept too, because its not just a coincidence that my name is the same as this creatures, I also consider that I share a lot of characteristics as well. As my name is inspired in the corals found in the sea, I decided to use them as a theme to build my brand. I took the colors, shapes and textures of the corals, to develop the graphic line of the brand. The logo is the initial of my name which is the letter K with a small hole in the top right which the tubular corals (one of the most popular) have, the patterns and extra elements are based in another typical corals such as the finger, brain and fungus coral. I also took the most recognizable characteristics of the corals to develop the concept of the brand, such as; flexibility, diversity, cohesion and warmness, because I consider that this concepts defined me as a designer. Thas why my slogan is : Let´s share some ideas, based on the reefs and the small comunities that are form by corals. What I was looking for with the stationary elements was, reflect the diversity and cohesion between the different patterns and elements, print them in materials, that through the textures complement the graphic line of the brand and make the fun to watch.
