Firefighting apparatus design proposal as vehicle-top equipment for firefighting tasks. In collaboration with; KARBA Team project with; Doğa Atasoy, Mert Taçyıldız, Sayit Alişan 2015 Fuego is a firefighter truck that is specifically designed for incidents which require ceaseless intervention and water supply. It provides the users to analyze and intervene the case with the help of the intelligence of the truck and the radio controlled devices.

Vision General Problems and Needs The form of the vehicle top and its inner set up is too cornered and ribbed. Might be hit. The location of the equipments is complicated and hard to learn.
Top part of the apparatus is hard to reach and the position of the equipment is not ergonomic.

Design Process
In the beginning of the ideation process, we aim for a kit that solves many problems, yet compact and flexible in one truck. For that reason, we explored existing trucks and arrived at a hooklift system. We considered possible scenarios that bonded our “flexible focused� idea to the hooklift system.

The team takes the road, stops near a water source
The ramp is opened up
Starts to download the water pump
Portable pump is pulled out, it is Thrown to the water taken to the water source
A team member guides the process, the water pump lands on the ground, they set
They turn on the water pump
The truck takes the road to the incident area
The drone leaves its nest to scout the area
At the same time the hose is laid along the road automatically
The robot monitor leaves the truck at the incident area
A fire fighter takes out the necessary equipments with the help of the ladder, the hose is installed to the robot monitor
At the cross sections a protective system is settled up, the hose is placed inside the ramp
The robot monitor reaches to the incident area, robots intervent the incident ceaselessly and extinguish the fire
The robot monitors are controlled from the cabinet
After the area is secured fire fighters The system lays the hose automatically gather up the system, the roller is settled up and the automatic system pulls down the hose end, after the system is set up the truck starts to collect back the hose
Thanks to the front corbel truck does not smash the hose, with the help of the crane
With the help of the crane, portable pump is pulled back, the water pump is gathered up
