Q: What has been your favorite project at KPARD A: In 2005 we rebuilt the P.A.C.T. playground at Johnson Road Park with hundreds of volunteers from the community. It was really hard work, but everyone had a great time!

Our very own Special Event Coordinator, Carey Ashcroft, won the City of Keller’s Employee of the Year Service Award. We are so thankful for all of her hard work and dedication she puts into this department. Congratulations Carey! The Keller Parks and Recreation Department also won the Arts and Humanities Award from The Texas Recreation and Park Society State Conference. We cannot take all the credit as the Keller’s Public Arts Board plays a big role within Parks and Recreation as they are the founders of Keller Summer Nights and continue to partner with Parks and Recreation to put on an awesome summer series.

Rental Information: Looking for a place for your next gathering? Our parks offer a variety of rental options to cater to all sizes. Below you will find a comprehensive list of the amenities included. Please call 817.743.4050 for availability. Resident fee is $30 for 3 hours and $15 for each additional hour. Non-Resident fee is $40 for 3 hours and $20 each additional hour. A 3 hour minimum rental is required. All fees are non-refundable. Reservations may be made no more than 6 months in advance.

SERVICES Lunch Program Metroport Meals on Wheels provides a lunch program at noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please call 817.743.4370 two business days prior for a reservation. www.metroportmow.org Lunch prices: $4 suggested donation or $5 for Themed Luncheons. Meals on Wheels Meals on Wheels provide home delivered meals Monday through Friday to the homes of those who are unable to cook for themselves. AARP Driver Safety Learn how to improve your driving skills and be more aware of other drivers.
