Mah Jong

A game of skill and strategy using tiles with symbols and pictures.

Days: Tuesdays Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Mexican Train

The object of the game is for a player to play all the tiles from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or trains, emanating from a central hub or "station.” Registration required. Days: Wednesdays Time: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Pinochle

A trick-taking card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48 card deck. Registration required. Days: Thursdays Time: 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Hand & Foot

This game is a form of Canasta played in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Spotlight

Meet Tom Bernoski

Tom has lived in Texas for about eight years. He became involved at the Keller Senior Activities Center in 2013 and is active in a variety of activities at the center such as our Day Trips, Hand & Foot, and Casino Night to name a few. Tom is always willing to lend a helping hand to new members at the center. He tries to remember names, invites them to play cards and educates them on the many resources at the senior center. “I like to make them laugh, listen to their history, and a smile goes a long way, " he says. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, cracking open a cold one, and trivia with his bride. He has three kids, and six grandchildren who he loves very much.
