A Word to Parents... The Keller Pointe staff strives to maintain the highest standards in emergency training. Our goal is to provide patrons with a safe and clean atmosphere in which families can enjoy themselves in a recreational environment. The purpose of the staff is not to supervise your child, but to prevent accidents from happening. Therefore, parents are expected to closely supervise their children and assist in enforcing the facility’s policies for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.
All children, ages nine years and under, must be accompanied and supervised, at all times, by a paying adult (at least 16 years or older).
Safety Procedure In order to keep our facility safe, any patron possessing a weapon, or object determined by The Keller Pointe staff to pose a potential threat to persons or property, will be denied admission and/or required to leave the premises without refund. The Keller Pointe staff may, at any point, contact the Keller Police Department to assist in the enforcement of this procedure.
Photography Policy Photographs and video are occasionally taken of participants and are used to promote our City Parks and Recreation Programs. If you prefer that you or your child not be photographed, please notify the photographer. Inclement Weather Policy Lightning poses a serious risk of injury in our aquatic facilities, including the indoor facilities. Due to the seriousness of this issue, the following inclement weather policy applies for all aquatic facilities: When lightning occurs, the pools will be closed. If the lightning and inclement weather continues for more than thirty minutes, the pools will remain closed and The Keller Pointe staff will attempt to reopen the pools later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to the facility’s official closing time.
Aquatic Training Please be advised that The Keller Pointe lifeguards take part in active training during operating hours. In the event there is a training exercise, the aquatic staff will notify all patrons.
