Membership Benefits Of The Keller Pointe Membership Registering as a member is the best way to take advantage of all The Keller Pointe has to offer. Members have access to all non-instructional activities, fitness equipment, the running/walking track, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, and locker room facilities.

Your membership to The Keller Pointe and monthly payments will automatically continue until you notify us, in writing, that you wish to discontinue your membership*. A $60 non-refundable service fee is due when you register for your monthly membership. *Please see cancellation policy
With an annual membership, you pay a single one-time payment at the time of registration or renewal, and can avoid a service fee and enjoy savings over a monthly membership!

Daily Admission If you choose not to become a member of The Keller Pointe, you may still enjoy the amenities of this great facility by paying the Daily Admission. The Daily Admission allows you entrance to all non-instructional activities in the fitness center, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, gymnasium, track, and locker rooms on the day of purchase. Every person entering the facility without a membership, must pay the Daily Admission.

Membership Proof of Residency Present your driver’s license in order to confirm City of Keller residency for a Keller Pointe membership. A membership will not be issued without a valid driver’s license. Proof of residency is also required at time of renewal. For taxing jurisdictions visit www.tad.org.
Definition of a Family A family constitutes at least one, no more than two, adult heads of household and up to four of his/her dependents that are 23 years of age or younger, in school, or living at home as a dependent. It also includes persons with special needs living as a single housekeeping unit at the same address.
Monthly Membership Cancellation For those individuals choosing the monthly membership option, a 30-day written notice is required to discontinue the monthly membership. There will be one final membership payment before any account is cancelled and there is no refund for the $60 service fee. A service fee of $20 per returned payment may apply.
Annual Fee Non-Refundable For individuals choosing to purchase an annual membership by paying for one year in full, the membership is non-refundable with the exception of the 30-day Opt Out Period.
30-day Opt Out Period All annual members have 30 days from the date of purchase to request an annual fee refund. One month, at the monthly rate, and a $60.00 service charge will be deducted from the annual fee refund amount. After 30 days, no refund is available. Written notice required.
Annual Membership Transfers
Individual or family annual members may transfer their annual membership to another individual or family. If the individual or family receiving the annual membership is a non-resident, the receiving party will be required to pay the difference between the resident annual membership fee and the non-resident annual fee. If a non-resident annual member is transferring their annual membership to a resident of the City of Keller, there is no refund for the price difference. Transfers have no cash value.
Inclement Weather Policy When lightning occurs, the indoor and outdoor pools will be closed. If we are unable to reopen after thirty (30) minutes, the pool(s) will remain closed and attempt to reopen later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to official closing time.
Rain Check Policy In the event of aquatic facility operation suspension due to inclement weather or maintenance, guest(s) may exchange their ticket for a rain check only if guest(s) have been present at the facility for less than two hours. Management reserves the right to suspend operation and/or close the facility at any time and initiate the rain check policy. If the indoor pool is able to stay open while the outdoor pool is closed, the rain check policy will not apply.
Stay ‘N Play Children should enjoy their experience at The Keller Pointe as much as their parents! Prior to working out or taking a class, check your children into the Stay ’N Play room where they can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment. Children, ages six months through nine years, may stay for a maximum of two hours at a cost of $2 per visit, per child. Bulk passes are also available to purchase for $30, good for 20 visits. Parents/guardians may not leave the building or outdoor pool while their child/children are in Stay ‘N Play. For policies, please inquire at the Customer Service Desk. *Stay ‘N Play passes are transferable but not refundable, and expire one year after initial purchase.

Medical Freeze In the event a medical condition prevents you from utilizing The Keller Pointe, members may freeze their membership up to 3 months by providing a doctor’s statement. Monthly memberships may be frozen for $10/month. Once a doctor’s release is obtained to return to the facility, the original membership will be reactivated. Annual Memberships may be frozen at no charge. Once a doctor’s release is obtained to return to the facility, the membership will be reactivated including the length of time it was frozen. If a patron has a family membership and elects to freeze the membership, the entire family will be frozen. Medical freezes must take place within 30 days of the medical condition arising. Expired memberships are not eligible for medical freeze.

SPRING Camps Snapology Drone Commander (7-12 years)
Snapology Robotics Rescue Mission (7-12 years)
In Snapology’s Drone Commander Program, students will be introduced to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and develop a deep understanding how to control and manage this exciting technology. In this workshop, children will learn about the types of UAVs, the parts needed for controlled flight, the forces of flight, basic drone safety, and the variety of flying maneuvers. This exiting program will give your child the change to safely test out some of the newest advances in robotics and really take their knowledge of engineering to new heights.
Do you think you could save the town of Dalto, California from a natural disaster? If the programming and duilding robots is something that you are interested in, then this is the camp for you! Come learn basic strategies for programming a robot using “their language” and then apply that to saving a town in desperate need of saving. Be prepared to have tons of fun!

Athletics Bowmen Beginner Basketball (4-5 years)
Girl’s Volleyball Leagues (8-14 years)
Young players of all skills and abilities have fun learning the fundamentals of ball handling, passing, shooting, and footwork in this skills-based program. Drills and games reinforce new skills in a fun, but intense, way that develops confidence, balance, and coordination.
Perfect your skills in our Recreational Volleyball League as you get ready to try out for your local school team. Beginners are welcome. Teams have one practice a week and Saturday games. Parents who want their child to “play up” (older age division) must coach. VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR EACH TEAM. The City of Keller will drug screen and background check all coaches prior to practices beginning. Special requests must be included with registration. Any special requests given after the late registration deadline will not be observed. No requests are guaranteed. The Spring season runs from 4/3-5/22 and the Summer season runs from 6/19-7/31.

Lakeside Aquatic Club and The Keller Pointe have partnered together to offer high quality swimming lessons to the community. LAC has over 25 years of experience teaching all levels of swimming. LAC is one of the most successful clubs in the state of Texas, having earned 1st place in the 13 & under championships in 2019. Partnered with USA Swimming, LAC has achieved the highest level of club recognition as well as the National Club Excellence Silver Medal. This level of competition starts with a great learn to swim program that inspires a passion for the sport of swimming.

Participants will learn safe entries into the pool, kicking on the side of the pool, and making bubbles on top of and under water.
Level 2
Swimmers will float face down in the water while blowing bubbles, float on their back float, and learn basic kicking skills on their front and back.

Participants will be assisted while learning how to kick on their front and back while taking breaths as well as learning how to kick on their side while taking breaths.

Contracts Contracts for all facility rentals and parties must be completed and signed at time of booking, along with payment.
Availability Bear Creek Rooms are available for rental from 5 to 1 . (Note: The building closes at 10 Monday - Thursday, 9 Friday, 8 Saturday, and Sunday after which extended hour fees will apply). The contract, deposit, and half the rental must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining 6 balance is due thirty (30) days prior to the rental. Rental times include setup & cleanup access time.
Deposits
A security deposit of $250* is required on facility rentals, along with the completion of The Keller Pointe Facility Reservation contract and 50% of overall rental fee. The security deposit will be refunded if the area used has been left in good order and all conditions of the contract have been met. *An additional $250 deposit for alcohol consumption and/or teenage event is required, along with the cost and scheduling of a Keller Police Officer on site during the event. The Renter is responsible for scheduling the Keller Police Officer. All rentals are a minimum of 2 hours.
Extended Hours Fee An extended hours fee of $15.00 per hour will apply to all facility rentals extending past the regular building operating hours.
Cancellation Policy for All Facility Rentals A written cancellation notice signed by the applicant must be received at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event in order for Renter to receive a full refund minus a $25 service charge. A forfeiture of the reservation fee will result if the Renter fails to provide a thirty (30) day written notice.

Program Registration Where to Register Participants may register for all classes, activities, programs, and events in person at The Keller Pointe during operational hours, over the phone, or online at www.thekellerpointe.com.
Class Locations The location for all classes, activities, programs, and events are at The Keller Pointe unless otherwise noted.
Registration Information Participants are encouraged to register for classes as early as possible. Registration deadline is Friday before class begins (unless otherwise noted). Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. *Minimum age is determined by the first day of the selected course.
Class Makeup Policy
If it is necessary to cancel a class because of inclement weather, The Keller Pointe Customer Service staff will notify all participants at least one hour before class is scheduled to begin when possible. You may call The Keller Pointe at 817.743.4FUN (4386). If a swim lesson is cancelled, The Keller Pointe aquatic staff will contact you within 24 hours to reschedule. Any group class missed will not be made up.
Class Refund or Transfer Policy
When a class is cancelled due to low enrollment or other circumstances, you will be offered a transfer to another class or receive a full refund. Participant initiated refunds and transfers will only be granted when a participant: a) submits a transfer or refund request at least 5 business days prior to the starting date of the course; b) moves from the area and notifies The Keller Pointe at least 5 business days prior to the course start date; or c) becomes ill or injured, in which case a doctor’s statement must be presented upon request. If a refund/transfer is not requested to be applied to Keller Pointe merchandise or program within 90 days, the refund/ transfer will be forfeited.

A Word to Parents... The Keller Pointe staff strives to maintain the highest standards in emergency training. Our goal is to provide patrons with a safe and clean atmosphere in which families can enjoy themselves in a recreational environment. The purpose of the staff is not to supervise your child, but to prevent accidents from happening. Therefore, parents are expected to closely supervise their children and assist in enforcing the facility’s policies for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons. All children, ages nine years and under, must be accompanied and supervised, at all times, by a paying adult (at least 16 years or older).
Safety Procedure
In order to keep our facility safe, any patron possessing a weapon, or object determined by The Keller Pointe staff to pose a potential threat to persons or property, will be denied admission and/or required to leave the premises without refund. The Keller Pointe staff may, at any point, contact the Keller Police Department to assist in the enforcement of this procedure.
Photography Policy
Photographs and video are occasionally taken of participants and are used to promote our City Parks and Recreation Programs. If you prefer that you or your child not be photographed, please notify the photographer.
Inclement Weather Policy Lightning poses a serious risk of injury in our aquatic facilities, including the indoor facilities. Due to the seriousness of this issue, the following inclement weather policy applies for all aquatic facilities: When lightning occurs, the pools will be closed. If the lightning and inclement weather continues for more than thirty minutes, the pools will remain closed and The Keller Pointe staff will attempt to reopen the pools later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to the facility’s official closing time.
Aquatic Training
Please be advised that The Keller Pointe lifeguards take part in active training during operating hours. In the event there is a training exercise, the aquatic staff will notify all patrons.
City of Keller’s Accessibility Information If you plan to attend any classes, workshops, or special events and have a disability that requires special assistance, please contact the Keller Pointe Manager 48 hours in advance, at 817-743-4310, and reasonable accommodations will be made to assist you in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. In addition, the following general information sets forth expectations for all participants and visitors who use the facility for any purpose. It is the responsibility of the participant or visitor to review the all of the policies, rules, and code of conduct. Copies are available on request or can be found online at www.TheKellerPointe.com No refunds will be given for loss of privileges due to a final determination of the violation. All participants and visitors are encouraged to report any violation to a The Keller Pointe staff member immediately. As needed, the Keller Police Department may be called at any time to administer policy, rules, and code of conduct.
General Policies: • Act with courtesy and professionalism at all times. • Comply with requests and direction from The Keller Pointe staff, officials, instructors, and facilitators who are acting in the performance of their duties. • Comply with any policy, rules, and Code of Conduct set forth for the facility, program, event or class. • Wear appropriate family-friendly attire, including swim wear where applicable; shirts and shoes are required at all times outside the locker rooms (unless specified by The Keller Pointe management). Non-marking athletic shoes are required on the fitness floor, track, gymnasium, activity room and aerobic room. • Tobacco, food, chewing gum, glass bottles, and cans are prohibited on the fitness floor, track, gymnasium, and aerobic room. Plastic water bottles are acceptable. • You risk losing your facility membership if your card/membership is used by anyone other than yourself and/or you fail to comply with the stated policy, rules, and code of conduct. • Lockers are for daily use only. The Keller Pointe personnel will reset all locks at the end of each day. • The Keller Pointe is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property. • All coolers are subject to inspection by The Keller Pointe staff.
Participants must refrain from the following: • Rude, aggressive, lewd, obscene, or indecent conduct/expression and behavior in any form including physical abuse, verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, harassment, bullying, coercion, profanity, and/or conduct which threatens or endangers the health or safety of any person. • Disrupting or obstructing any program, event, or class. The use of or solicitation of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia while on the premises. • Any action which constitutes an attempt to inflict, or the actual infliction of, or injury to other participants and/or staff. • Willful damage or destruction to the facility or property. • Unauthorized entry to areas to restricted areas or equipment. • Photography and videotaping in member or day pass areas of the facility without prior approval of The Keller Pointe and/or the participants being photographed or taped. • Unauthorized commercial activity - no person is allowed to post, advertise, instruct in private lessons, or solicit individuals in the facility for personal services or for personal businesses that are not directly affiliated and approved through The Keller Pointe.
Fitness & Weight Floor: • YOU MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO BE ON OR USE THE FITNESS FLOOR without adult supervision. • Children, strollers, carriers, etc. are prohibited from the fitness floor, weight area, and track. • To use the fitness center without adult supervision you must be at least 16 years of age. Teens 13-15 years of age may be allowed to use the fitness center equipment under direct parental supervision at all times. This includes the parent ensuring the child is appropriately using the equipment, that the child is using proper body mechanics, being courteous to other members and following all other fitness floor and facility rules and regulations. • Teens 16-17 years of age may be allowed to use the fitness center equipment by having a parent or legal guardian sign a liability waiver. •
Gymnasium: • Children, 9 and under, must be directly supervised by a guardian 16 years of age or older. • Open gym schedules can change at little notice due to availability, leagues, and programs. • Basketballs/volleyballs may be checked out at the front desk. A valid Keller Pointe membership card or picture identification is required in order to checkout any equipment. Failure to return the equipment may result in additional charges. • Dunking or hanging on the rim is prohibited.
Aquatic Facilities: • Children, 9 and under, must be directly supervised by a guardian 16 years of age or older wearing a swimsuit. • All swimmers must be wearing an appropriate family friendly swimsuit. • Shower with soap and rinse thoroughly before entering the pool. • Coast Guard approved life vest only. • Use of, including but not limited to, water wings, toys, facemask that cover the nose, personal toys including rafts, inner tubes, balls, or Frisbees and small rings are strictly prohibited. • All coolers are subject to inspection by The Keller Pointe staff. • For sanitary reasons, all clothing and diaper changes must be made in the family changing room or locker rooms.
Spa/Hot Tub: Children under 13 years of age are prohibited from using the spa. The maximum recommended time limit for spa use is 15 minutes. No oil-based products. CAUTION: If you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or are on medications, consult your physician prior to use. • No more than 13 people in spa at a time. • All General Pool Rules apply. • • • •
Lap Lanes: • Lap lanes are for continuous lap swimming; please use proper lap swim etiquette. • Hanging, sitting, or climbing on lap lines, railings, or safety ropes is prohibited. • Please consult the pool schedule for lap swim availability.
Slides: • A person must be 42" in height to ride indoor waterslide and 48" in height to ride outdoor slides. • Maximum rider weight is 250lbs for indoor slide and 300lbs for outdoor slides. • All eyewear and floatation devices must be removed. • Only one person at a time may ride. • Riders must lay on their back, feet first with arms crossed. • Riders must exit the catch pool quickly. • Parents are not allowed to catch children at the bottom of the slide. • Foreign objects and jewelry are not prohibited.
Enforcement: The Code of Conduct and Rules and Regulations of The Keller Pointe will be enforced by the staff, officials, instructors, and facilitators whose authority shall prevail in the immediate situation. If a violation occurs with a city employee, the immediate supervisor of the employee will be notified. If a violation occurs with a contractor employee, the contractor’s human resources office will be notified. The following actions may be taken for violations of the Code of Conduct and/or Rules & Regulations: Violations of the code that do not constitute an immediate and apparent threat to the safety of others or their property will result in all or some of the following actions, including, but not limited to: • Verbal warning • A suspension of certain and/or all privileges for a specified period of time • A permanent suspension Violations of the Code and/or rules that are deemed to constitute an immediate or implied threat to the safety of others or their property, and/or the safety of the facility or property may result in the following actions, including, but not limited to: • A one to six month suspension • A six to twelve month suspension • A permanent suspension
Track: • YOU MUST BE 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO BE ON OR USE THE TRACK without adult supervision. • Children under 13 years of age MUST be under direct adult (16 years of age or older) supervision at all times, that includes the adult ensuring the child is being courteous to members and following all other track and facility rules and regulations. • Strollers, carriers, etc. are prohibited from the track at all times.

Failure to adhere to any of the above rules, regulations, and policies will result in immediate removal from The Keller Pointe. Serious violations will result in suspension or termination of annual, monthly, or daily pass. Bob was an unmistakable figure here, and had an irrefutable impact on our members, our staff, and the Keller community. His sharp wit, warm heart, and infectious smile will be deeply and sorely missed.
