AIHS was designated by the state of Indiana as the Area Agency on Aging for northeast Indiana serving nine counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley.

Other activities are day trips, health programs, foot clinics, hearing care and screenings, educational and informational programs, and pamphlets on many subjects including elder law. We also have a library and social gatherings and entertainment. Sign up for our free Telephone Reassurance Program. We will make scheduled calls to your homebound loved one, older than the age of 60. Calls can be on a temporary basis, while they are recovering from an illness, when a caregiver is away from home for an extended time or on an ongoing basis for as long as you wish to receive the calls.
