Fritillerie Embroidery

A GP & J Baker Original inspired by the earlier work of Miss Bryant, an illustrator and textile designer of the late 19th Century, this classic pattern is a product of the Art Nouveau revival of the 1970s and features delicate single colour scrollwork on softly coloured linen grounds giving a timeless quality.

Trumpet Flowers

A GP & J Baker Original, this lively tropical design features the Brugmansia shrub whose large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers have earned it the name of “Angels Trumpets”.

Designed in 1913 by Stuart Proverbs, the pattern was originally produced by GP & J Baker from four sets of 68 hand-blocks.

Tulip & Jasmine

A GP & J Baker Original, this delicate design of tulip and jasmine motifs with scrolling leaves was first produced as an eight-colour roller print in 1910.

House Linen

‘House Linen’ is a pigment dyed, brushed linen available in 21 colours creating an exceptional cloth for making beautiful upholstery and curtains. House Linen is available in a sophisticated colour palette that ranges from warm sands, pebble and neutrals through to pale chalky pinks, aqua, greys and blues, to seafoam, emerald, denim and indigo blue.

Weathered Linen

‘Weathered Linen’ is a heavier weight, stonewashed linen with a soft, laundered handle available in 27 colours in a sophisticated colour palette that ranges from warm sands, pebble and neutrals through to pale chalky pinks, aqua, greys and blues, to seafoam, emerald, denim and indigo blue.

House Boucle

House Bouclé is a versatile, softly textured fabric suitable for any upholstery project and is available in 17 stunning shades, from soft, modern tints of linen, oatmeal and dove to rich forest and earthy re d.

Baker House Velvet

This soft, supple velvet has a dense cotton pile with a practical finish. Its beautiful fluid drape makes it perfect for curtains as well as luxurious upholstery and schemes with all of GP & J Baker’s decorative collections. Extremely versatile, ‘House Velvet’ is available in 25 delicious colours ranging from gentle dove and blush through gorgeous bright jewel shades to deep charcoal and ebony.

House Textures is an elegant collection of five smart weaves designed to coordinate brilliantly as a stand alone collection or to be used as a perfect partner to GP & J Baker’s decorative collections.

The collection includes ‘Harwood’ a raised, chenille with a smart diamond motif, ‘Pentridge’a slubby, relaxed marled-yarn weave, ‘Darwen’ a smart, light-weight, tailored weave, ‘Morley’a two-coloured geometric weave and ‘Fine Bouclé’.
