Relevant Coursework Intro to Digital Architecture In this class the basic principles of digital modeling, rendering techniques, and two dimensional representations were explored through the use of multiple programs. I was introduced to FormZ, Rhino, and SketchUp for my 3D modeling, Bazil, Podium, and Vray for rendering, and 2D drawings through AutoCAD and Rhino.
Material and Methods of Construction 1 In this class I was exposed to the principles and nature of materials used in construction. Also, the Criteria for evaluation and selection related to design decision-making. Methods of assembling and selecting materials; detailed systems of construction were also investigated.
Introduction to Architectural Structures A foundation course that investigates principles of structural behavior in withstanding gravity and lateral forces; consider structural layout, load distribution and preliminary design techniques; and examines contemporary structural systems through case studies emphasizing trussed, framed, funicular and shell structural systems.
Design Studios Undergrad 1- Grad 3 This series of courses were the backbone of the degree, in these studios I was able to put everything that was taught in my supportive classes and also taught me about spacial concepts and ways in which to achieve architectural concepts through a built environment.
