Rodeca facade panels Rodeca facade panels raise interest among architects and they use them in projects that are pursued by investors worldwide. Panels are made with an elaborate construction, which results in heat and sound insulation boards, the resistance to all weather conditions, light transmission, color versions and different lighting effects on the cuticle.

The characteristics of Rodeca facade panels • The thickness of the panels that goes up to 40 mm provides a thermal insulation factor of 0.80 W / mK with its ventricular structure. They are without additional insulation inside or underneath them like it can be found by facade competitive products. (Termotom plates, Max plates …). • Color versions allow many combinations with the surrounding space and they provide the perfection to the external appearance of each facility. • With the panels RODECA we can achieve high comfort in living in our houses because they reach a high sound insulation factor. • Creating specialized panels from PPC materials and an UV resistance layers allows the panels to be resistant to all weather conditions: hot, cold, solar UV radiations, 100% resistance to hail, flame-retardant. • The light weight of panels that can reach length to 10 m provides an easy installation. • Because of the ventricles and the correct choice of color intensity, the facade panels allow a lot of light transmission and that gives it a great advantage over other producers. • Because of the perfection in details RODECA has a lot of possibility of fixing, solving the angle situations, opening and shifting plates on the statue. • Panels reach different reflections as during the day and night and they have anti glitter effect. • RODECA facade panels are mounted on the grid and are being put together with per-click system, so the visual side appears as a whole or as one smooth surface that is divided only by the color tones.

Raw materials
Warranty
Polycarbonate (PC) is made out of a glass-clear thermoplastic material.
RODECA offers a limited 10 year warranty for the coextruded products for the yellowing, ageing and hail. HI (High-Impact) is a qualitative unlimited warranty against hail of all sizes and intensity (in accordance with our personal guarantee). Light transmission / G-value In accordance with the project, the panels can be produced with the required light transmission from 0 to 83% with the appropriate G-value throughout the material improvement. Special customer’s requirements are also available. UV-transmission
Advantages • Temperature stability from -40 to + 115 ° C • within these temperatures is a constant high level resistance • excellent UV protection
UV co-extrusion Rodeca uses a patented co-extrusion method. With this procedure a highly concentrated UV-protective layer dissolves homogeneously into a basic polycarbonate material during the manufacture. That offers the following advantages: • It allows heat molding and cold bending of smaller radius. • A high resistance against external influences and ageing. • There are no adhesive problems with the UV protective layer. • The UV layer has the same temperature characteristics as the base PC material. • There is no limit on the impact of the resistance.
Items that are coated with a coextruded UV protective layer are 100% UV protected to a depth of 380 nm. This is an important factor for UV sensitive products. Expert opinion is that RODECA HFQ-products have no effect on radar stations (e.g. airports) and do not obstruct the radar activity.
Insulation We can achieve an U-value of 1.20 W / m2 K due to several ventricles in the panel.
Working temperatures From -40 ° C to 115 ° C (short time 130 ° C).
Thermal characteristics RODECA products with the coextruded UV protection offer a high stability at temperatures that may briefly reach 130 ° C (recommended temperature is 115 ° C). The panels may also be attached to a surface. In a case of heating of the attached panels, please contact us, because they can expand.
Behavior of the exposed elements Co-extruded UV protective layer (on one side) contributes to the high element of resistance. At the request of the contractor we can also protect the other side of the item with this protective layer (extra charge).

Qualities
Common colors: • TRANSPARENT for multi-wall panels with a high permeability. • TRANSPARENT WITH A FROZEN STRUCTURE for panels with a high light diffusion flow. The surface is also more resistant to scratches. • OPAL – ANTI SHINNING with a light diffusive pigment that provides natural, anti shinning light. • BRONZE - clear brown panels for increased protection from sunlight. • ATLANTIC GREEN - colored glass effect. • PACIFIC BLUE - a fashion blue color. • WHITE - no light transmission. • SPECIAL COLORS - as specified by the RAL-a, a minimum of 150 m2.
Depending on the conditions for surface mounting, the Rodeca plates have following characteristics: Coextruded: • LONGLIFE - quality on one side. • RODALIFE - quality on both sides. Frozen structure (a standard for panels) with the light throughput structure; immune to scratches. High quality: it allows a high security with a special manufacturing process.
Impact and fracture properties RODECA PC products are virtually unbreakable even in the case of falling rocks, getting hit by a ball ec... Thicker than the plates (4-40 mm) are, higher the resistance is. Polycarbonate is 200 times stronger than glass! PC components do not splinter or fragmented and therefore prevent damage due to pounding. They correspond with the new German conditions from the employment Statute § 8. The impact of hail Since there is no DIN standard, Rodeca has independently tested their Rodeca panels (they started with 1.9 kg/m2) with the EMPA (Swiss Institute for testing) for the simulated hail with a diameter of the balls up to 20 mm – the tests revealed no injuries. For the HI (High Quality) RODECA offers a lifetime warranty against hail, whatever it size and intensity is. A hit of a ball / sphere Even with a hockey puck that can fly with a speed of 130 km / h, there were no injuries. There is a lifetime warranty on a hit of the ball/sphere, which correspond to DIN 18 032 T3.

Fire resistance
Treatment
The burning temperature for PC is with 450 째 C very high. In a case of fire only a little smoke will appear and only a small amount of toxic gases will developed. Product and material settings correspond to DIN 4102 for: - B 1 a high flammable resistance - B 2 a normal flammable resistance. Please ask for a certificate for the fire resistance if necessary.
PC boards can be produced with normal tools such as a jigsaw that is sufficiently sharp. Drilling can be done with sharp steel. The drilled hole should be 50% bigger than the screw..
The melting area correspond to DIN 18234 In many projects, RODECA products are used as a melting range, lower melting temperature is below 300 째 C. This helps to reduce the costs that are made when using very expensive systems of RWA.
Chemical resistance Conventional building materials do not harm the PC components. Please check the details on a list of chemical resistance.
Coloring If the panels were used as an advertising boards, it is mandatory to use appropriate colors so the panels are not damaged.
Cleaning Water with a little detergent that is used for washing the dishes is enough to clean the panels. Any abrasive or sharp object should not be used during cleaning.
Storage and transport PC boards should be stored and protected from direct sun and rain. If the plates have a protective film, there can easily come to inconveniences, because the protective layer can stick and it is then difficult to remove. Do not pile the plates to a height of more than 150 cm.
Packaging The plates are coated with a protective film only by a special order. They usually pack 4-6 plates together (depending on the length) in a plastic container that can be recycled. Plates should be unpacked just before of the installation so the chambers do not get dirty unless they have been protected with an aluminum tape at our factory (extra charge). You must remove the protective film before the installation. Multi-wall panels have the protective film on both sides and are delivered on pallets with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg. Coextruded outer side of the plate has a printed or a colored film. This protective film must be removed immediately after the installation. The ends are protected against dirt with a transport tape or with an aluminum tape (extra charge).

Expansion and contraction
The bending radius
Expansion factor for the PC is 0.065 mm / ° C m and is 3 times higher than for aluminum.
Minimum radius for multiple layered wall is a wall of thickness in mm x ≥ 150 (depending on the geometry). Bending is allowed only by the length. Smallest radius can cause damages and cracks. A thermal design is possible for a successfully implementation of the smallest radius. The minimum radius for our panels is 200 x thickness.
The rule of thumb The extension is 3 mm / m at 50 ° C temperature difference. The length and width of multi-wall plates may change depending on the temperature. Coupling of the plates causes a change in thickness. Changes in length of the plates should be considered at the organization of the construction. Extending the length and thickness of multi-wall plates must be considered in the design plans.
The sealant Sealants and gaskets must be PC compatible because otherwise there can be damage on the plates. It is necessary to be aware that the silicone that is used is completely neutral and does not contain any solvents (eg, PC-N 2001 ID Silicone from RODECA).
Condensation PC is not a steam diffusing material so the condensation can appear but that does not change the quality of material. This is only temporary because of the weather / climate and does not damage plates and insulation.
Security A board with a length of 50 cm must be placed on the roof for safety when walking on the roof. PC material can be classified as resistant to structural damages.
Tolerance of multiple layered wall Depending on the thickness: from - 0.6 to + 0.6 mm According to the width: ± 2 mm According to the length: from 6 m -0 to + 20 mm from -0 6 m to + 30 mm
Closing the ends of panels because of the dirt Ends of PC and multi-wall panels should be sealed before installation, immediately after opening the package. Aluminum tape (tight for dust and steam) or other compatible materials should be used for preventing dirt or other substances to enter the panels. It is advisable to close the panels in production (extra charge). The growth of algae will also be prevented in the case of preventing the entry of dirt in the chamber. The removal of water and steam from the chambers will be quicker by using steam resistant diffusion or water resistant tape. In this case, there is a possibility of dust entering into the chambers when removing water and steam. Each element should be protected separately.

Advantages of the material
~ Transparent building components with an experienced cohesive system for a safe and quick installation regardless of the weather. ~ A protective tape on the outside helps to increase water resistance and protection against the incursion of dirt. ~ A two-sided groove for steel fastening allows a safe and easy mounting in the construction of very long panels. ~ Coextruded UV protective layer on the outer side of the panel offers good characteristics of the material. ~ 10-year warranty (depending on the warranty statement).
~ Glazing elements are made out of crystal clear thermoplastic polycarbonate (PC). We raise the quality of sunlight with this special structural formula (only by Rodeca). ~ PC glazing element is virtually unbreakable in a case of strong shocks and it is resistant to extreme temperatures from - 40 to + 130 ° C. The impact resistance is not depending on the temperature of polycarbonate glazing elements. These elements are a good choice compared with transparent materials. ~ Advantages: daylight, energy saving, safety and flexibility in planning.

Materialne karakteristike
Tip PC 2685-3 je montirana zasteklitvena izolacija z ustreznim Alutherm-sandwich strešnimi paneli. Paneli so montirani v dolžini do 21 m.
Polikarbonat ima visoko odpornost na udarce ter visoko in nizko temperaturo. Vgrajena struktura omogoča vstop svetlobe, ki ustvari prijetno delovno atmosfero.
Montaža panela omogoča prednost vnosa dnevne svetlobe v objekt in visoke izolacije.

Izdelek ponuja izolirane zasteklitvene elemente z možnostjo ustvariti ekonomično svetlobno atmosfero v strehi in fasadi.
Dokazan program za pripomočke in okvirje omogoča različne možnosti varne in ekonomske montaže. Dodaten podporni profil omogoča večji razmak.
Panel je izdelan iz UV stabilnega polikarbonata z vgrajenim lomilcem svetlobe. Ustvari difuzijo svetlobe brez bliska.

Opis izdelka Patentiran multifunkcionalni panel (MFP) je izpopolnjena različica multifunkcionalnih panelov z vgrajeno spojko, kjer ni potreben povezovalni profil. Izdelan iz PC-Makrolon MFP je odporen na vremenske razmere z visokimi in nizkimi temperaturami. Karakteristike so zavarovane z koekstrudiranimi UV zaščitnimi plastmi na obeh straneh. MFP omogoča montažo po zahtevah projekta.
Z vgrajeno spojko je panele enostavno in varno obrezovati. Dokazani program za pripomočke in okvirje omogoča različne možnosti varne in ekonomske montaže. Dodaten podporni profil omogoča večji razmak.
Montaža Z visoko K - vrednostjo zaradi 4 sten in fleksibilno možnostjo montaže, je panel idealen za ekonomično zasteklitev v strehi in fasadi od tenis in športnih dvoran, streh z nizkim nagibom, skladišč, kmetijskih in toplogrednih objektov.
