Trash Service in Copper Lakes

Pick-up services are on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Remember that trash containers and bags - including those left by lawn crews - should not be put out until 6:00 PM the night before and removed as soon as possible after pickup. All trash must be at the curb by 7:00 AM. Between pick-up days, containers MUST be stored from view. Although the recycling service has been discontinued, there are newspaper drop-offs at local schools. In the event your trash pick-up day falls on a holiday, all trash will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled pick-up day. No trash pick-up will be made on the day following a holiday, unless it is a regularly scheduled pickup day.

Harris County Alarm Detail

In order to increase compliance and spread awareness, our office is requesting your assistance in informing residents in your community through your HOA newsletter or your scheduled HOA meetings of the need to obtain a permit for operating an alarm system, residential or business, within unincorporated Harris County. Many residents and businesses are unaware of the requirement to obtain an alarm permit once an alarm system has been installed and activated by the alarm company. Alarm systems are established and defined in the Local Government Code 233 (subchapter D), as well as the authority to regulate, adopt rules and impose penalties for unpermitted locations. Obtaining the required permit will avoid the issuance of a citation and excessive false alarm fees. The fee for current permit issuance is $35 with a yearly renewal fee of $10. All permit fees are waived for senior citizens 65 years or older. Under current guidelines, a permitted location is allowed five (5) free false alarms annually. Any subsequent false alarms during your permitted year are subject to a $75 fine that is billed to the permit holder’s address. If a site has an active alarm system, yet does not have a permit to operate such alarm, a false alarm may result in a Class C citation, which could range up to $500. Should you or your residents require a copy of the permit application form, or would like to review the regulations regarding permit requirements, you may do so by visiting the Harris County Sheriff’s Office website at www.hcso.hctx.net. The application can be printed from the website, then completed and mailed to our office with the applicable fees. We are currently in the planning stages of making the application and payment process available on-line for the convenience to the public. Should you have any questions, please contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Alarm Detail at 713-7554600 M-F, 8 AM- 5 PM. If you would like any of our Alarm Detail personnel to attend one of your HOA meetings, we would be glad to attend and answer as many questions as possible.

LOST AND FOUND PETS

Residents can now place pictures and information for lost and found animals under the neighborhood pictures tab of the Copper Lakes website, www.copperlakes.com. If you have lost or found a pet, please use this great tool to let the neighborhood know and hopefully reunite the pet with their family.

Veterinary Public Health LEASH LAW

Animals that are not properly restrained pose a threat to all our residents. While you may know your pet is friendly, an animal running at someone who is walking by is very scary for that person. Many children are afraid of animals and become frightened, which could result in the child getting hurt trying to avoid the animal. Veterinary Public Health (formerly called Harris County Animal Control) advises that “All dogs and cats must be kept under restraint while in the unincorporated areas of Harris County, Texas. The custodian of a dog or cat is not authorized to have, harbor or keep any unlicensed dog or cat or to allow any dog or cat to become a stray.”

Copper Lakes

Restraint is defined as “the control of a dog or cat under the following circumstances: 1. When it is controlled by a line or leash not more then six (6) feet in length, if the line or leash is held by a human being who is capable of controlling or governing the dog or cat in question or 2. When it is within a fully enclosed vehicle or 3. When it is on the premise of the custodian and the animal does not have access to sidewalk to street.” While it may be nice to have your animal out in the yard while you work or play, it is against the law, unless the animal is properly restrained. Let’s all help keep our community a safe and comfortable place for all our residents by being responsible pet owners. This will not only protect anyone who may be walking or bicycling in the area, but also the pet owner who could be held legally responsible or possibly sued for failing to properly restrain their pet.

Copperfield Coalition A Non-Profit Incorporated Organization Medians on FM 529 The Coalition met with TXDOT officials on December 4th to discuss the FM 529 project. A little behind schedule, the construction/modification of medians on FM 529 commenced mid-December. TXDOT has made a few more changes to their plans. They have informed us that any median less than 10 feet wide would receive pavers (earth-tone colored brick inserts) rather than being green. They are concerned for the safety of any maintenance or landscaping crews that would be maintaining said medians. They feel that anything less than 10 feet wide would endanger the lives of the workers due to the close proximity to high-speed vehicles. Any and all medians beyond 10 feet will be green. TXDOT will also be installing sleeves to the medians, which would allow for future irrigation and landscaping if desired by the communities or the businesses around them. Hearthstone has agreed to landscape the medians from Horsepen Creek to SH6. In the future, the Coalition will attempt to solicit other communities and businesses on FM 529 to do the same. Prostitution and Human Trafficking The Coalition met with Sheriff Garcia and his command staff. This was a follow-up from the September 18th Town Hall. One of the topics we discussed was the massage parlors and the new regulations concerning them. The new regulations were passed in Commissioner’s Court on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. These were the new SOB (Sexually Oriented Business) Regulations crafted by Pct. 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle’s and Constable Ron Hickman’s Task Force. This will also impact and help control, Human Trafficking in Harris County. The new regulations allowed for a 90-day grace period, which will be up on or around January 9, 2013. We discussed the possibility of Sheriff Garcia borrowing manpower from all his different divisions to aid in a mass enforcement of the new regulations the day the 90-day grace period is up. His response was in favor of doing just that. We had reported that the massage parlor located on FM 529, directly across the street from Kroger, next to Apple Dental was

Copper Lakes

shut down shortly after our Town Hall Meeting. Unfortunately, we have discovered that this massage parlor, which is extremely close to Langham Creek High School, is back up and running again. It is advertising once again on Backpage.com under the services of Escorts and Body Rubs. The Coalition will emphasize its concerns that this and all other illegal establishments in, around and nearby our area are dealt with the resolve to have them shut down permanently. We must send a clear and decisive message to these organizations that they are not welcome in our community and will not be tolerated. Crime, Security and Safety If You See Something, Say Something! “If you see something, say something” is the slogan of Homeland Security. Harris County has also adopted this motto, if you see something, say something no matter how insignificant you may think it is. If you are the slightest bit suspicious, call the Harris County non-emergency number and report it. If it is life threatening or an emergency, of course, dial 911. The deputies would rather show up to find out it is nothing than show up later after a crime has been committed and it is too late. Let’s all take a pro-active stance. Let’s stop crime before it starts. Make a call! Non-emergency number: 713-221-6000. MONTHLY MEETINGS OPEN TO ALL The Copperfield Coalition meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Copperfield Community Center, 15409 Willow River Drive. The meeting is in the activities room; please come in the main door. Please check the website for any last minute cancelations and/or changes before attending. Come to one of our meetings and find out what we are all about. If you are interested in protecting the integrity of Copperfield, our lifestyle and our property values, then please join us. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED If you are interested in becoming a member, being on a committee or being an advisory member, then please contact us at Anthony@ CopperfieldCoalition.com or come to one of our meetings. Sincerely, The Board of Directors - CopperfieldCoalition.com

CY-FAIR EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION HONORS MILITARY HEROES

The Foundation will kick off its fifth “Salute to Our Heroes” event on February 9, 2013 at the Omni Hotel Westside Houston. “Salute to Our Heroes” honors the brave men and women who have served to preserve our freedom and liberty. Proceeds from this event go to an endowment enabling graduating students from CFISD to attend college. The event will be generously underwritten by Earthcare Management and Kodiak Gas Services, as the Missing Man Underwriters. The Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital will be the Major General Sponsor.

This year our guest speaker is Steve Russell. LTC Steve Russell (Ret.) commanded the central unit responsible in the hunt and capture of Saddam Hussein. Through leadership and joint efforts across multiple teams, a large organization worked effectively to capture one of the world’s most notorious criminals. Russell is an American Hero. His proven leadership and problem-resolution techniques engage audiences through his storytelling.

Salute to Our Heroes has two purposes. First, to give tribute to our heroes - soldiers serving now, veterans and those who have been wounded or killed in action. We want to honor those who have served their country.

The second purpose is to raise funds for scholarships for Cy-Fair ISD students. Each year we give three scholarships per Cy-Fair ISD high school, and the number of high schools is growing. It has been a challenge keeping up with the demand, but CFEF is dedicated to this mission.

The inaugural event honors Jersey Village High School graduate 1st Lt. Jeremy E. Ray, who was killed December 20, 2007 while serving his country in Iraq. A CFEF endowment was established in Jeremy’s memory by an anonymous donor. Last year the 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Ray Community Service and Peace Award was presented to Klein Funeral Homes & Memorials.

Following tradition, the event will have the Missing Man Table & Honors Ceremony. The table will have empty table settings with chairs leaning up against the table as though saved for someone. The table settings have a single red rose displayed in a vase in reminder of the bloodshed for our country and the vase was tied with a red ribbon - a symbol of the continued pledge to shed blood for our country. A slice of lemon on the bread plate is a reminder of the bitterness of the loss of comrades in arms; a bowl of salt to symbolize the tears shed by family members of lost loved ones and glasses turned upside down indicate no one will sit there. Last year’s ceremony was performed by the 75th Army Division Honor Guard and was proceeded by Taps performed by William Veenstra, Cy-Fair High School Senior. It’s the time of the year when we find ourselves setting new goals and resolutions. Our schools also have goals. And we actively look to our community to partner with us and help us meet our goals. VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) in Cy-Fair ISD center the attention of their service on supporting students and staff and making a significant contribution to the education of children. These dedicated individuals, who give freely of their time and resources, impact the academic and personal development of Cy-Fair ISD students. Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is fortunate to be able to draw from a diversity of skills and knowledge in its community. If you are interested in being involved at Cy-Fair schools as a volunteer and making a difference or would like more information, please contact Pam Scott, Partners in Education Director at 281894-3950.

SMITH MIDDLE SCHOOL news SMITH MIDDLE SCHOOL SEEKING COMMUNITY MENTORS

Smith Middle School is seeking community mentors to serve as positive role models for our students. Being a community mentor is extremely rewarding and only takes a commitment of 30 minutes to an hour a week to mentor/meet with one of our 6th, 7th or 8th grade students. Mentors must attend a one-time, district orientation before they begin mentoring at the school. Then, it just takes 30 minutes a week to truly make a difference in the life of a child. Once you have completed the training and background check, an administrator at Smith will work with you to match you with a student who would be the best fit for you. If you enjoy working with children and making a true difference in people’s lives, the mentor program at Smith Middle School is just for you!! We are especially looking for quality male mentors to serve as role models to our male students. District mentor training dates are being held on the following dates this school year: Jan. 31st, Feb. 12th, Feb. 28th and March 28th. Please contact Melissa Laroussini, Mentor Program Coordinator, at 281-213-1026 or by email at Melissa.laroussini@cfisd.net for more information. Thank you!

LCHS CHEER

The Langham Creek Cheer Squad would like to congratulate the Mighty Lobo football team for being District Champs! It was a fun and exciting season and the squad was honored to be part of it all! On November 15th, the cheerleaders served Thanksgiving dinner to the residents of Grace Care Center. It was a wonderful act of kindness and service that was beneficial for all in attendance. Thank you girls for being active in your community for the good of others. The Lobo cheerleaders had some great “nature” time on November 18th with family and friends at their annual hayride. On a beautiful, crisp night, they roasted hot dogs and made smores over a camp fire, played games and enjoyed each others company away from the lights and complications of the city. A well deserved respite for our hard working girls! On December 2nd, the cheerleaders donned their Santa hats and holiday garb, hopped on a beautifully lit float complete with music and a snow blowing snowman and rolled down Highway 6 in the annual Parade of Lights. Once again, our girls served as beautiful ambassadors of Langham Creek High School in a fun community event benefiting the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department.

GIRL SCOUTS OF SAN JACINTO COUNCIL Copper Corners Service Unit

Girl Scouts in the Copper Corners Service Unit are looking forward to lots of activities in 2013! January always begins with the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale. Girls will be selling those delicious cookies starting January 5th, so plan to order plenty of your old favorites! A new cookie this year is the Mango Crème, a crunchy vanilla and coconut cookie with a mango-flavored crème filling. Be sure to give them a try! Selling Girl Scout cookies helps girls to develop business and organizational skills and provides funds for individual troops and San Jacinto Council. Cookie money helps to maintain and equip our great camps and buys things like bows and arrows, canoes, feed for the horses and much more. When you purchase Girl Scout Cookies, you are helping to provide special programs and opportunities for our local Girl Scouts. We appreciate the support of our friends and neighbors! If we missed visiting your house, look for cookie booths at area businesses between February 15th and March 24th! Girl Scout leaders and their daughters are looking forward to Leader/ Daughter weekend January 11th-13th. We’ll be gathering in the Hill Country for an incredible weekend. This is an opportunity for leader moms and their daughters to enjoy time together. Crafts, a campfire sing-along and great food (Dutch oven cobbler… mom!) are some of the things we always look forward to at camp. . We make new friends and have time to relax and visit with old ones. We might be climbing a rock wall, participating in a trail ride or performing in the talent show, but we always have a great time and bring back wonderful memories!

Troop 16150, a new kindergarten Daisy troop, has already started to create Girl Scout memories. The girls welcomed parents, family and friends to their investiture ceremony and celebrated with a party. They had learned and recited the Girl Scout promise and sang Girl Scout songs for their guests. They loved showing off their new Girl Scout pins and the promise circle that they earned at their very first troop meeting. You can see the beautiful cake from their celebration, along with troop photos. Other activities in the planning stages are Daisy Day, Brownie Day and an event for older girls. Rumor has it that information on the service unit “Me and My Guy “event will be coming out at the next service unit meeting. “I’m In PAIN” Can Chiropractic Help ME ? We are often asked, “What’s the best way of finding out whether or not a doctor of chiropractic can help my problem?” We believe the answer can be found in a complete chiropractic consultation and examination, including x-rays. And to help find out for sure, we will do a complete consultation and examination, including x-rays, if necessary, (procedures that normally cost $187.00 or more) for $25.00. We will make this special program available through January. The only exception to the offer involves personal injury cases (workers’ compensation and auto accidents) in which there is no charge directly to the patient.

PACK 445 OUT OF FIEST ELEMENTARY

Welcome to the New Year’s edition of “The Chronicles of Pack 445.” Pack 445 had a wonderful and eventful end to the year 2012. Once again, we joined the fun and participated in the annual Parade of Lights. The Scouts truly love decorating our floats and put a lot of time, pride and hard work into it. While the boys didn’t have to bundle up in their best winter clothes this year, it was still a very festive celebration. The boys also had their annual Pushmobile Races last month. Pushmobile is where one Scout sits in a homemade car and steers, while another Scout pushes from behind. A lot of hard work and preparation go into this event, but it is well worth it as the boys always have a great time! The New Year will bring Pack 445 a lot of fun and a lot of activities. Next month will be our annual Blue and Gold Celebration, which is sure to provide a great for the Pack families. Pack 445 hopes that you and your family had a wonderful holiday and an even better New Year. We would love for your son to spend this new year with us. If you have a boy in the first to fifth grade in the Copperfield area and would like to join our family, please see our website at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cubpack445houston/

Come join our planning committee or register your own team to help raise money for cancer in our Cy-Fair community!! The Heart of Relay: During the Relay for Life event, three ceremonies are held Survivors Lap: To start Relay, those who have survived their battle with cancer join together to walk a lap celebrating their victories over the disease.

Fight Back Ceremony: Before participants leave Relay, they make a personal commitment to help fight back against cancer in several ways. As interest in Relay for Life grew in the Houston area, the American Cancer Society began forming events in local communities and the first Cy-Fair Relay for Life committee was formed in 2004. This is our 9th year in Cy-Fair and our goal is to reach the $1 Million Dollar Mark. We are very close and only need $150,000 to meet our goal and with YOUR help, we can make this goal a reality!! 100% of our profits go to ACS to use for research and other programs. With more than 1,000 participants in last year’s Relay, we know that we can grow even bigger this year! On Sunday, January 13th, during the 8:30 and 10:45 AM worship services as a part of the worship celebration, we will be including the Wesley Covenant Service from the United Methodist Book of Worship. The first usage of the Covenant Service by a meeting of Methodists was August 11, 1755. During the week before that event, Wesley had been encouraging the Society at Spitalfields to use the covenant as a “means of increasing serious religion which had been frequently practiced by our forefathers and attended with eminent blessing.” Several mornings before he actually introduced the liturgy, Wesley explained it again, talking about the manner of doing the covenant. Then on Friday, August 11th, Wesley “recited the tenor of the covenant proposed, in the words of that blessed man, Richard Alleine.” About 1800 people arose and gave testimony of their assent. “Such a night I scarce ever saw before. Surely the fruit of it shall remain forever.” Wesley’s motivation for using the service in 1755 came from two sources: (1) He had recently read Gillies’ Historical Collections which spoke of a solemn renewing of a covenant in Massachusetts in 1680 and (2) Richard Alleine (161181) whose influence had touched Wesley’s paternal grandparents and whose covenant had been used in Wesley’s family at Epworth. The use of this service proved so successful that it was used frequently, especially on New Year’s Day or the first Sunday in the New Year. Mark your calendars and make plans to join us for this special service.

GIVE AN HOUR™ NETWORK Provides Free Counseling to Troops and Families

Since September 11, 2001, 1.8 million troops have been deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Persian Gulf, with 17 percent of returning troops suffering traumatic brain injuries or post-traumatic stress disorder. Given the military culture’s emphasis on confidence, strength and bravery, many service members are reluctant to expose

personal vulnerabilities to professional counselors. Give an Hour™ provides services that are separate from the military establishment, offering options to service members who might otherwise fail to seek or receive appropriate care.

Give an Hour™ is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national network of mental health professionals providing free counseling services to returning troops and their families. Give an Hour™ offers services to veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and their family members. Family members are loosely defined to include married or unmarried partners, parents, siblings, aunts/uncles—anyone connected to the veteran who is suffering a psychological effect related to the veteran’s service. Banyan Counseling Network has an office located near the North Cypress Medical Center and is trained to provide individual and family counseling. Family support groups are also currently forming. People interested in receiving services through Give an Hour™ are encouraged to call 281-855-1982 or log on to www.banyancounseling. com, (click Military Families link) or www.giveanhour.org to determine availability or to locate another provider in your area.

If you enjoy working with the public, decorating or merchandising, then serving in CAM’s resale shop, Angels’ Attic, is the place for you. Our busy community donation area, the Cellar, is looking for people willing to serve by processing donations and restocking Angels’ Attic. La Leche League is an international nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but you may need support and information on the correct positioning of the baby at the breast, working and breastfeeding, avoiding problems and overcoming any difficulties that may occur. Knowing other women who have breastfed their babies can be helpful and reassuring. Having accurate, up-to-date information is also important. Attending La Leche League meetings can help you learn about breastfeeding from other nursing mothers. At these monthly meetings, mothers share not only their questions and concerns but also the benefits and joys of breastfeeding. Being in touch with La Leche League can give you the network of support you need. There are numerous meeting locations all over the Houston area. The Cy-Fair group meets on the second Tuesday of the month, at 10:00 AM, in the Berkshire Community Meeting Room, 15607 Berkshire Manor Ln. Babies are welcome! MOTHERS OF YOUNG CHILDREN (MYC)

Are you an at-home mom looking for some fun distractions during the day? Why not try out MOMS Club of Cypress-North! We are a chapter of the International MOMS Club, which is a national, nonprofit organization that gives at-home mothers the opportunity to share activities and discussions with other mothers and their children. Activities are held during the day, when at-home mothers need support and interaction the most. Children are always welcome. We also organize community service projects throughout the year. Our members are moms of various ages and backgrounds with kids of all ages (newborn to high school age).

MOMS Club of Cypress - n., Texas

The moment a newborn baby wraps their tiny hand around a parent’s finger is a pivotal moment in the life of any parent. The baby not only tugs on the finger, but on the parent’s heart as well. It is in that awesome moment that the parent begins to understand the unconditional and abounding love that God has for each of us. But soon after the little miracle arrives so do all the questions and sometimes, without any clear answers. The Mothers of Young Children (MYC) group was organized by St. Cuthbert Episcopal Church to minister to families with young children throughout the Northwest Houston community. Both stay at home and working parents are invited to participate in the group. The group supports and prays for one another, shares information and ideas on child rearing and builds lasting friendships. Most importantly, MYC’s focus is on God and God’s presence in families. The MYC ministry includes: • Friday morning Bible study at 9:30 AM (childcare provided!) • Monthly Kids Night In • Mom’s Night Out • Playgroups throughout the year • Service ministries • Online discussion forum

Our business meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month. If you are interested or would like more information, please visit our web site at www.momsclub.org or contact Stephanie Hvezdos, President, at whizwine@aol.com or 713-444-0697 for location, directions or any questions. We are happily welcoming new moms at each meeting. Hope to see you there!

The MYC group is an exciting ministry filled with open hearts and lots of energy (and that isn’t including the kids) with a desire to grow in Christ. St. Cuthbert Episcopal Church is located at 17020 West Road, at the corner of West and Queenston. For more information, check out our web site at www.stcuthbert.org or contact Tanya Avery at tanyatj@sbcglobal.net

JAZZERCISE COLLECTS FOR THE MINISTRIES, OPERATION INTERDEPENDANCE AND PINK RIBBONS PROJECT

It’s a fact that exercise is important for good health. And it’s even better when that exercise helps others in the community. Jazzercise in the Bear Creek Copperfield area has collected food and new toys during the holiday season for the Cypress Assistance Ministries for over 30 years. This year, Bear Creek Copperfield Jazzercise Center along with the Northwest Jazzercise Center has also collected for Operation Interdependence with customers donating snack and personal items for our troops overseas. The Bear Creek Copperfield and Northwest Jazzercise customers, along with other locations, will help energize the crowd at the Rockets vs. Spurs game, when they perform a choreographed halftime routine at the Toyota Center on March 24, 2013. The Jazzercisers who will perform this high-energy routine are not professional dancers. They come from all walks of life - teachers, doctors, nurses, secretaries, business owners and parents. The driving force behind this performance - in addition to the excitement of performing in front of thousands of people at Toyota Center - is raising money to benefit The Pink Ribbons Project. In the past year, Jazzercise has raised $30,000 for the Pink Ribbons Project and over $330,000 over the past ten years to benefit this worthy cause. They are expected to raise thousands more in years to come. Pink Ribbons raises money for the National Alliance Cancer Organizations (NABCO), providing free mammograms for local women and an educational breast awareness program.

Cy-Fair Women’s Club Women Serving the Community

We had a blast at our December Holiday Party and we marked the end of another successful year for our women’s club. We look forward to 2013 with enthusiasm. Happy New Year Everyone!! In January, we will meet for our first annual business meeting followed by a fun game of Bunco. In February, organization is the word. We hope to receive guidance that we can use in all aspects of our lives. CWC is a service organization that gives back to the community, so all funds raised will go right back to the community in scholarships for graduating high school seniors, at Lone Star College, Cy-Fair and grants to other non-profits in our community as well. Membership for the Cy-Fair Women’s Club is open to all ladies in Northwest Houston/Cypress neighborhoods. Currently we meet the first Thursday of most months at West Houston Church of Christ. Our meetings begin with social time and refreshments at 7:00 PM immediately followed by a program at 7:30 PM. The church is located at the corner of Queenston and West Road. Our monthly meetings are not only educational and enjoyable, but they develop lasting fellowships. We look forward to meeting you there! Please contact Susan McLeroy, Membership Chair at sudomac@comcast.net if you have any questions about our club or need directions to the church.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that about 220 million tons of old computers and other technology hardware are trashed in the U.S. every year. At the same time, 43% of US households do not have a computer at home. This huge disparity is commonly referred to as the Digital Divide. La-fundacion.net in partnership with community organizations throughout Texas, is trying to bridge the gap by placing donated computers in the hands of those who do not have access to technology. La-fundacion.net collects donated computers that once refurbished, upgraded and loaded with legal copies of Windows are provided to organizations like The Women’s Home of Houston, churches, community centers or directly to Public School Children who do not have a home computer in partnership with Public Schools such as Houston’s Hamilton Middle School. Recycling your old computer or other electronic equipment is a great way to help those who cannot afford access to technology, but it can also help keep the environment free from dangerous pollutants and can even mean a few extra dollars in your pocket at tax time. Next time you upgrade your computer, your cell phone, etc, consider donating your old equipment to la-fundacion.net La-fundacion.net is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Nonprofit Foundation based in Texas and Florida whose mission is to provide Technology and Education to those being left behind by the Information Age.
