As a reminder, it is critical to be able to recognize something that is out of the ordinary. Although many residents don’t know all their neighbors, they usually know a few. They also become familiar with patterns of living, like when people leave for work, the cars normally seen in a driveway, etc. It is these patterns that become what we consider “normal.” Whenever we see something that is not normal, it should warrant our attention. It may be a vehicle parked in a driveway or street, it may be someone walking on the street from house to house or it may even look like someone who is working on a project. If anything looks suspicious, call the Sheriff (713-221-6000). If someone knocks on your door, make certain you know who it is, before you open the door, it if sounds out of the ordinary call the Sheriff. If you in any way think something may be suspicious, call it in to the Sheriff (713-221-6000)! Please continue to call in any and all suspicious activity you observe at any time, to the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 713-2216000 (Option 1 for dispatch). For life threatening emergencies, call 911.

Copperfield Place Village (CPV) A WORD FROM THE BOARD

If you have any issues to report or want to discuss, please feel free to bring them up at the next scheduled Board meeting. Contact SCS so that they can put your name on the agenda. The website should also have the time and date posted of the next Board meeting scheduled or you may also contact SCS. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ALL REGULAR BOARD MEETINGS WILL NOW BE HELD AT SCS’ OFFICES ON 7170 CHERRY PARK DRIVE INSTEAD OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE “ANNUAL” BOARD MEETING.)

(CPV) TRASH DAYS!!!!!!

Please remember that trash days are now scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays. Please do not set out garbage over the weekends. Set the trash out the night before trash pick up. Dogs and cats wander the neighborhood during the day and love to get into the trash. If you are trimming your trees, remember that the limbs must be bundled in 4-foot sections or they will not be picked up by the trash service.

Start cleaning out your closets, attics and garage now! Any item that you feel is no longer needed or cluttering up space can be put out for the garage sale. If you have not used it in 2 years, you do not need it. Don’t be a hoarder, let someone else enjoy it.

Any modification of the front yard, etc. that is out of the ordinary, should be approved before landscaping with the Architectural Board Committee at SCS. Please trim ALL bushes, trees, shrubs that are planted in the cross corner lots /section of the street! These must be kept trimmed and maintained for a good, safe view of incoming traffic at all times! SCS will be looking closely at all intersections during their drive through to insure that this is in compliance with the deed restrictions. There has been reported instances where palms, trees or large shrubbery is overgrown and not providing a safe view of the cross intersection. You may obtain your form for Architectural Board approval by visiting the Copperfield website at www.copperfield.org or contact SCS.

Easton Commons Village (EC) WATERING REMINDER

Please be mindful of a few “water-wise” procedures that can help all of us during this continuing drought. Exterior water use, including lawn watering, should be done before 10:00 AM or after 7:00 PM. This not saves water, but is better on your lawn as well. Also be careful to direct your watering such that its use off the lawns and flower beds is minimized. In other words … “Don’t water the walkways and streets!” Water usage in Easton Commons, unlike in some subdivisions, is neither being regulated nor restricted. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep it that way.

COPPERFIELD VISION DR. JOHN CHATELAIN

(EC) GARAGE SALE

Easton Commons will be open for its semi-annual garage sale on Saturday, October 26, 2013. This is not a “Community Garage Sale.” Rather it is individual garage sales at the homes of participating residents. This is in accordance with the HOA Board decision and wishes of the preponderance of the responding residents. Anyone wishing to participate will simply set up his or her wares in the garage or yard of his or her own home. The garage sale hours will be 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The Homeowner’s Association is asking that all sale items and related paraphernalia be removed from public view not later than 6:00 PM the day of the sale. Your cooperation in making this event a success is greatly appreciated.

Trash pickup days are Tuesdays for trash and Fridays for trash and recycling. Trash receptacles must be stored out of sight. They must be placed at the curb no earlier than the evening before scheduled pick up and removed not later than the day of pick up. This means that bags that are filled and placed on the street after lawn service on Wednesday must be removed until Thursday evening.

(EC) CRIME WATCH

The Block Captain Program is off and running in Easton Commons. Block captains may be coming around to your doors and introducing themselves as Block Captains. It will not hurt their feelings if you ask for confirmation that they are who they say they are. Once you have become convinced of their authenticity, please cooperate to the extent that keeps you comfortable. Interested persons should send an email to Ken Johnson at admin@ eccrimewatch.com.

(EC) DEED RESTRICTIONS

Every month SCS Management rides through Easton Commons to check for Deed Restriction violations. The Deed Restrictions set the standard on how our property is taken care of. A well maintained community will impact the property value of your home, which is most likely the largest investment you have. If you have received a letter from SCS regarding a Deed Restriction violation, please take care of the violation as soon as possible. If you are having problems getting an issue resolved, please contact SCS Management to inform them and to schedule a timeline for the correction. If you ignore the letter, additional letters are sent out which can result in additional expenses, which will be added to your account. If you are not sure of the Deed Restrictions, you can access them on www.copperfield.org under Easton Commons.

(MG) BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AND ANNUAL LIGHTING CONTEST

Once again this year, we will be having Breakfast with Santa and a Holiday Light Contest. The exact dates of these two holiday traditions will be announced on the website sometime in the near future. It would be great if we could have some new volunteers to help, as it is usually the same residents helping out every year. This is especially true for the lighting judges. If you can help, please email webmaster@middlegatevillage.org. Thanks so much for your consideration!

to get them out of sight. If they are left at the curb for days before trash pick up, then they are visible to everyone driving down the street or trying to walk around them on the sidewalk. Northmead Village (NM) NORTHMEAD GARAGE SALE

The semiannual neighborhood garage sale will be held on October 5th from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The Homeowners’ Association will post signs to advertise the sale. Please remember that per deed restrictions, garage sales are only permitted during the community sales that are held in the spring and fall.

(NM) GARBAGE CANS

GARBAGE CANS MUST BE STORED OUT OF SIGHT! It is a violation of deed restrictions to leave cans in view on non-garbage pick-up days. There is a fine assessed for each violation notice a resident receives. This is a growing problem in our neighborhood. Deed Restriction investigators are going to become more vigilant in citing the homes in violation. You are encouraged to report homes that are chronic violators to Graham Management. A link to contact Graham Management is also on the Copperfield website. You will remain anonymous. Your reports are appreciated.

(NM) HOME IMPROVEMENT REQUIREMENTS

Before making improvements or changes that may be effected by our Deed Restrictions, call Graham Management at 281-497-4320. They will advise you and provide the form you will need for approval of your renovation. Please do not put yourself in the unfortunate position of incurring unnecessary costs to rectify a change that was not approved.

“I’m In PAIN” Can Chiropractic Help ME ? We are often asked, “What’s the best way of finding out whether or not a doctor of chiropractic can help my problem?” We believe the answer can be found in a complete chiropractic consultation and examination, including x-rays. And to help find out for sure, we will do a complete consultation and examination, including x-rays, if necessary, (procedures that normally cost $187.00 or more) for $25.00. We will make this special program available through October. The only exception to the offer involves personal injury cases (workers’ compensation and auto accidents) in which there is no charge directly to the patient.

CHIROPRACTIC HEALTH and WELLNESS CENTER Southdown Village (SD) 2014 ASSESSMENTS

Graham Management mailed 2014 HOA Assessment statements to Southdown residents in early October. The payment is due on January 1, 2014 and late fees are assessed after January 31, 2014. Payment is accepted via regular mail and online at www.grahammanagementhouston. com. Clicking on the Southdown page will enable you to pay with an e-check or credit card. Contact Graham Management at 281-497-4320 with any questions.

(SD) TREE TRIMMING

It’s tree trimming time in Southdown Village! No homeowner wants overgrown trees in their yard as they are unsightly and dangerous. Trees are pruned to increase safety and reduce the potential of damage to property. Homeowners can prune small branches and limbs themselves, using inexpensive hand tools like loppers, handsaws and trimmers that have a lopper and saw mounted on a long pole. Large branches, high trees, large limbs over a structure or any trees growing near electrical lines, should be pruned by insured professionals.

(SD) FROM THE BOARD

The Board encourages homeowners to let them know if you are experiencing personal difficulties that prohibit you from properly maintaining your home or paying your HOA fees. Life happens. If you are going through a sickness, financial crisis or some other life challenge, please let us know so we can address the issue on a case-by-case basis. Contact Graham Management at grahammanagement@sbcglobal.net. Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month, at 6:30 PM, at the Copperfield Community Center, 15409 Willow River Drive, Houston, Texas 77095. Contact Graham Management to be placed on the agenda.

(SD) WELCOME NEW SOUTHDOWN NEIGHBORS!

Southdown Village continues to attract new families and we welcome one and all. As a good neighbor, your new neighbors might appreciate it if you would let them know the name of the person that does your yard, where you go to church, who cuts your hair or where the best nail salon can be found in the area. Southdown Village continues to have the best and caring neighbors in Copperfield!

(SD) TRASH DAY

By now you all know that the backdoor trash pick-up for household items has changed to Tuesday and Friday. Recycling is on Tuesday. Trash and recycling bins must be stored out of view until the evening before trash day. Failure to do so may result in a violation of deed restrictions.

(SD) YARD OF MONTH

Congratulations to Rosalba Andrade and Dan & Tammy Peterson, last month’s Southdown Yard of the Month winners. The Andrades live at 7402 Knoll Cliff Court and the Petersons are at 15903 Viney Creek. We thank these families for the pride they take in their property and our neighborhood. Please let Graham Management know if you see a yard that deserves consideration for Yard of the Month.

(SD) STREETLIGHTS

Copperfield pays a flat fee to Centerpoint Energy for our streetlights, no matter the condition of the lights. It is important to report any non-working streetlights, as Centerpoint will not charge us to fix them. These reports will help our neighborhood remain an attractive place to live. Please report nonworking lights to Centerpoint at 713-207-2222. Include the pole ID number when you call.

WESTCREEK CRIME WATCH Meetings - 3rd Monday at 6 PM Forest Heights Pool Meeting Room

(WC) NATIONAL NIGHT OUT KUDOS (NNO)

Many thanks to our wonderful neighbors who volunteered to host 8 separate “block party gatherings” for National Night Out (NNO), which was celebrated on Tuesday, October 1st. Also a big thank you to all the neighbors who gave up their time to participate in a “know your neighbor event.” At many of the gatherings, Harris County Sheriff’s deputies along with Cy-Fair Fire Department volunteers stopped by and visited with the various groups for the purpose of strengthening community bonds and discussing various crime and fire prevention safety tips. West Creek appreciates Ryan and Whitney Stamper for bringing the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Dept. to the block parties. A big thank you goes out to Larry Berger, Virginia Duffy, Bill Schindler, Janet Gingell and Rollin Recroft for all their efforts in the following ways: helping Westcreek neighbors prepare for NNO block parties by soliciting donations and raffle items from Boston Market, Outback Steakhouse, Winsg n More, Bill Schindler Power Washing, Langham Creek Ace Hardware, CVS, Walgreens, Home Depot, Randall’s, HEB, Carrabbas, John Eagle Honda, Copperfield Automotive, Once Upon A Child, Freddy’s, La Madeleine, Sprouts, Fajita Willie’s, Tea for Two and the hair stylists from Courtyard Salon; for posting the NNO banners at two of the entrances to remind neighbors about NNO. Tammy and Dave Davis did a fantastic job of escorting the Menchies Soft Serve character to all the parties much to the delight of the children in attendance. Westcreek would like a captain for every block; so if you would like to serve in this rewarding position, please contact Larry Berger at Larry.Berger @ energytransfer.com.

metroministorage.net HALLOWEEN SAFETY

This month, children will be out celebrating Halloween by trick-or-treating. When driving, please be on the lookout for children who may be crossing the street. Please talk to your children about these safety issues - look both ways before crossing the street, go as a group with a trusted adult and never alone, walk don’t run from house to house, never enter homes of strangers; wear a reflective costume or add reflective strips, use a flashlight to help you see and to help others see you.

COURTESY ISSUE

As children are walking and riding their bikes to and from school, please make sure your sprinkler system is turned off during these times. Many sprinklers are going off and making it difficult for children to get to their destination without getting wet.

WESTCREEK LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE

HUMMINGBIRDS This is the time of year when we will begin to see hummingbirds. If you wish to have multiple visits to your home please remember the following: • Place a feeder outside in a well-shaded area. • You do not need to purchase a special feeder mix, simply mix your own by adding 1 part hot water to 4 parts white granular sugar. DO NOT add honey, red food coloring or artificial sweeteners. • If you have more than one feeder, place secondary feeders so that each is not visible to the other as hummingbirds are territorial during feeding and will “dominate,” preventing others from making visits. • Keep the feeder clean and well stocked - change the solution twice a week in warmer weather or if it becomes cloudy.

OCTOBER GARDENING TIPS LAWN/GARDEN CARE

Insect and fungus damage should be first and foremost in our lawn and garden care considerations as we are moving out of the intense heat and into cooler times. • Insect Control - You should consider applying a fall treatment to eliminate late but never absent party arrivals such as mosquitoes and cinch bugs to

your lawn and garden areas. Cinch bugs have been very problematic with the intense heat we have seen this past summer and it is not yet cool enough to see significant population declines. • Aphids may be seen in greater numbers, especially upon hibiscus. Utilizing all-natural soapy water solution works great and does not damage the plant. • Fungus Control - As was stated in September, October will really bring on the ideal conditions for an increase in Brownpatch fungus, especially when evening temperatures fall below 60 degrees. o Change your watering schedule by eliminating any evening watering sessions. Leaving the lawn wet in the evening is an open invitation for Brownpatch to appear. o Alter your fertilizer in use to limit the amount of nitrogen to only a “slowrelease” combination. o For treatment, Fertilome liquid systemic, Daconil or a double dose or Terrachlor should help stop any apparent signs from growing or increasing. A liquid treatment works best once fungus signs are apparent or obvious. • Flowers - If you are thinking ahead to next spring already in regards to all things that bloom, October is the ideal time to lay Bluebonnet and Indian Paintbrush seed. Seedlings need to take root and establish a root base in the fall, and getting the seeds to germinate, is necessary to achieve this. Getting seed into the ground before soil temperatures fall below 70 degrees is imperative. If the seed laid down does not have a chance to germinate it may do so when temperatures rise in the spring, but fall seeding will usually produce a more robust showing. Remember Halloween brings a flood of treat-seekers to our neighborhood take care to watch for children and be sure any yard decorations placed out are safe and installed securely in case of inclement weather. Wait until the 3rd week of October to place any carved pumpkins outside - any sooner and the warm weather will quickly decompose your work of art.

WARRIOR FOOTBALL Congratulations to Cypress Christian senior defensive back, captain and four-year starter, Michael Boyd, who was honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston at their annual Preseason Team Banquet. The keynote speaker was Don Trull who was recently inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and played for the Houston Oilers in the 1960s. He challenged all the players to use their talents for more than just the game of football. The Cy-Christian Warriors have a full schedule through mid-November competing against area rivals for the district title. Armed with the talents and skills of returning players, newly discovered talent and additional coaches, the Warriors are mighty contenders this season. Be sure to catch the action. to God while on the Warrior football field. To get a better understanding of the size of the ark (which was 450 feet long and 75 feet wide), one class stood at each end of the football field, one class stood on the side and one class stood in the middle. They couldn’t believe that the ark was even longer than the football field! In addition, one of the kindergarten teachers released a helium balloon on a string that was 45 feet high to show the height of the ark. The children were able to see just how tall the ark really was! Noah definitely didn’t build it in one day. They marveled at God’s perfect plans and at His faithfulness to keep His promises.

“HATS OFF TO VOLUNTEERS” AT CY-FAIR ISD

“Whenever you wear your hat, your day will be special.” - Margo Nickel In Cy-Fair ISD, volunteers have the opportunity to wear lots of different hats. Some will find themselves wearing the hat of a library helper or classroom reader. Others find that organizing a fundraiser or mentoring a student is the hat they wear best. Whatever volunteer hat you are wearing in our schools, one thing is certain; your day will be special. Cy-Fair ISD volunteers center the attention of their service on supporting students and staff and making a significant contribution to the education of children. They give freely of their time and resources and have an impact on the academic and personal development of our students. CypressFairbanks ISD is fortunate to be able to draw from a terrific diversity of skills and knowledge in its community. If you are interested in being a part of an exciting group of volunteers and making a difference in your Cy-Fair ISD Schools or would like more information, please feel free to contact Pam Scott, Partners in Education Director at 281-894-3950. Lowery Elementary School LOWERY ELEMENTARY NEWS

The Best Laid Plans…

We’ve all been there: working on a household project that was only going to take “so” long, yet with each step we uncover something else that needs to be done and next thing you know that project has taken on a life of its own! And that is exactly what happened to Lowery Elementary this summer. As our General Contractor was performing the scheduled renovations, issues were discovered behind the entire building’s brick veneer. Specifically, the metal brick ties located within the walls that provide support for the exterior brick were corroding, were improperly spaced and could create some safety concerns if not corrected. Our Architect and Structural Engineer first planned to utilize stainless steel anchors drilled through the mortar joints to attach to the exterior wall backup. Unfortunately, the mortar between the bricks was not strong enough to hold the fasteners for a long period of time and could not be relied upon as a permanent fix.

As a result, our Consultants recommended we remove the entire brick veneer exterior and replace with new face brick. The district acted very quickly and had the contractor perform demolition work to remove any brick that could cause safety concerns at the start of school and fenced off areas for the contractors to safely work and the students to safely play. While it’s true there currently isn’t a great deal of visible construction activity, we can assure everyone that there is a talented and dedicated team of architects, engineers, contractors and district personnel working quickly towards a new and improved final exterior design of Lowery Elementary. We anticipate this work will take approximately 5 to 6 months to complete, pending delivery of materials and weather conditions. Thank you for your patience during this on-going construction process. We believe all of our students, staff and parents, as well as our Copperfield community, will be proud of the finished product which will serve our district for many years to come. Coming Events! Cy-Falls High School Red: The heat and sun were just too much. So, I broke the chain and hit the road. I stopped at the office supply store and went on in, but nobody seemed very excited to see me. Thankfully, a kind lady was passing by and offered me a ride. My medical exam, shots and heartworm treatment are behind me now with no lasting damage and I am looking for my real forever family. Call me a love bug - I adore humans in all shapes and sizes. I roll over for tummy rubs and want to snuggle on the couch for movie night. Other dogs are ok, but I would rather have my people close by. Cats are very interesting and given my lineage, I do want to give chase. Things I love: long walks, rawhide chewies, and lots of hugs.

Did You Know? Lowery Elementary has a Facebook page! Next time you’re online, be sure to “like” us to be even more in-the-know about all that’s going on in our school. Remember, it’s never too late to volunteer with the Lowery PTO. For more information about what you can do to help our kids have a “Pawsitively” fantastic school year, please visit www.lowerypto.com/ or email our Volunteer Coordinator, Susan Skarda, at susan_skarda@yahoo.com.

Marshall: I was picked up as a stray in the country and ended up at a big, noisy shelter. It was scary, since I am a little guy and don’t make a fuss. The rescue group gave me a ride out and my new life is ready to begin! I weigh about 12 lbs., have all the best breeds in my genes (too many to list here) and just love people. I like other dogs, but give me a lap and some snuggle time and I will be one happy boy! I am young, about 1 - 2 years, so I have many years and many adventures ahead of me. Let’s meet and greet. You won’t regret it!

CYPRESS FALLS HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR NEWS

Welcome back fellow music lovers! A new school year is in full swing and joyful sounds fill the air! Our Ice cream social September 5th was a great success as massive amounts of frozen dairy treats were created and consumed. The freshmen were paired up with their big sib and new friendships began. Laughter filled the commons as interactive gaming went on with an extra scoop of silliness! Thank you to the booster club for supplying the treats and serving for this wonderful bonding experience. Our pizza/cookie dough/candy fundraiser is under way. If you missed out, we will have more ways to support us in the future! Thank you to all that did support us as these funds help in all the activities and extra items needed that often come into play for performances, travel and the favored Spring Trip!!!

Copperfield

October 29th will see the commons transformed into a dinner theatre straight from Italy. A big thank you to Terri McCormick for heading up this event. This major fundraising for our choir. There will be a silent auction and we would love to represent your business or service. We are accepting any and all donations for baskets or items of interest to be bid upon. Please contact Mary Peck (281-550-5893 or mary-peck@att.net) for questions. In addition, our fabulous choirs will perform selected songs especially for our evening of dining and listening pleasure. Please help us in congratulating this year’s choir officers. They are a group of energetic, positive and creative motivators that will no doubt lead our students towards excellence! Thank you for your dedication! Stay tuned for upcoming adventures in sound as we bound towards a fun filled, happy and healthy school year! GO EAGLE CHOIR!

Fall product sales of candy and nuts ran through October 4th. Two new items this year are Dark Chocolate Mint Penguins and double chocolate truffles. There are lots of other tasty treats - just to keep you going until the Cookie Sale in January! Product sales give a girl the chance to learn goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. It also helps troops fund their activities and helps support our great camps and their varied programs. What else do Girl Scouts do? They help in their communities in many ways. They may make greeting cards for veterans, collect and shelve food at local food pantries, do face painting at a school carnival or organize a recycling campaign. There are many, many things to do as Girl Scouts and many different kinds of Girl Scouts to do them. Some of us act in plays; others build the scenery or make the costumes. Others may write the play or the music or set up a web page for the production. We are just starting to plan our calendar of events for the year, but we are looking forward to a good time!

Eagle Scout candidate Conner Cole, with Boy Scout Troop 1296, presented Copeland Elementary, with six (6) large wooden display cabinets this summer. He planned and built, with assistance from Troop 1296 scouts and parents, these shadow box frames as part of his Eagle Project. The glass fronted, hinged picture frames, one per grade, will be utilized to display students work once mounted in the school main corridor. Conner chose his project to give back to the community and in particular the school where he was a former student.

Chances are you’ve heard the term “pet blessing,” but aren’t sure what it entails (no pun intended) or what the purpose is. Well, the simplest way to describe a pet blessing is: A spiritual celebration to honor our loyal companions who love us unconditionally. This special ceremony is traditionally held in the fall around St. Francis of Assisi Day, October 4th. This ceremony is conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures. St. Francis wrote a Canticle of the Creatures, an ode to God’s living things: “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.” Cornerstone UMC will be holding its “Blessing of the Pets” on Sunday, October 6th, at 4 PM. People are invited to bring their pets (fish, snakes, cats, dogs, hamsters, etc.) to receive a special blessing. We will gather in front of the worship center building and following a brief liturgy, Dr. Dave Meadows will bless each animal and their owner. If for some reason you are unable to bring your pet (the pet isn’t people or animal friendly, is easily frightened or not well), then simply bring a photo. Dogs should be on leashes. Cats and other pets should be in appropriate carriers. Please make sure your dog or cat has on a collar with a current ID. Please join us for this special celebration… the “Blessing of the Pets.” For more info., please call the church office at 281-859-4141. Cornerstone United Methodist Church is located at 18081 West Road (across from the CFISD Berry Center).

CHRIST COVENANT CHURCH LADIES BIBLE STUDIES LADIES BIBLE STUDY ON JONAH

Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted video study by Priscilla Shirer Interruptions. They’re aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. They make us want to tell people what we think of them. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. The prophet Jonah’s existence was interrupted by a call of God that would require a complete change of life. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session video Bible study, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. Come join us every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM beginning Oct. 22, 2013 at Christ Covenant Church, 17000 Longenbaugh, Houston, TX 77095. Registration goes through Oct 15, 2013. Call the Church office at 281-463-6600 to order the workbook ($15) and to reserve childcare. To register on line go to www.christcov.net.

CARNIVAL ROUND THE CENTRAL FIGURE by Diana Amsterdam. Regional Premier - November 7-23, 2013. A wild ride through theatrical terrain that sears the senses and impacts the audience at a visceral place, which also manages to be hilariously funny and heartbreakingly real in the five core scenes of a young woman’s visit to the death bed of her friend. Her moment of acknowledgment and comfort comes hard in the face of denial, moralizing, insane positive thinking, desperate chit chat and the existential fears we all harbor about the end moments of life - the great mystery. MUSEUM OF DYSFUNCTION IV - December 6-14, 2013. Short plays from 200 writers who submitted from all over the US and were chosen by a panel. Co-produced by Wordsmyth Theatre. ROME by John Harvey - World Premier - March 6-22, 2014.
