This will service as formal notice of said meeting scheduled to follow the attached Agenda:

Please note that the Association documents stipulate a quorum to be 10% of the total membership in person or by proxy. There are two (2) positions available for election to the following term: three (3) year terms. All owners will be allowed one vote per Lot. If you are interested in placing your name on the ballot for the election, please contact management prior to March 15, 2016 to have your information included in any additional notices to the membership and posting nominee information on the website prior to the meeting.

Please report any lights that are out, blinking or on during the day. Part of your annual Homeowners fee pays for your streetlights, whether they work or not. If a light is out in your area, please call 713-207-2222 or go to www.centerpointenergy.com/outage and report it. Each light pole should have a 6-digit number on it. When reporting the light, you will need to provide the pole number and closest intersection or address. We want all our lights to work… a well lit area is a safe area!

We have received reports that children have been using the tennis courts for everything but tennis. Please reiterate to your children that use of the courts is for tennis play ONLY. THE CITY OF HOUSTON URGES RESIDENTS TO SIGN UP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

The City of Houston, in partnership with the Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network, is now offering emergency notifications to mobile phones through the Emergency Notification System (ENS). These emergency alerts will help residents get more information about emergencies in their neighborhoods, such as hazardous chemical spills, floods and large fires. Staying informed is an important way of keeping yourself and your family safe when emergencies occur. Landline home or work telephones are already a part of the ENS system and now residents can register their cell or internet phone numbers so they can be alerted about an emergency in their community. It’s simple and easy; sign-up at the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management website http://alert. houstonoem.org or http://911.org and register up to four telephone numbers. Houstonians can also register for ‘Alert Houston,’ the City of Houston’s Email Notification System, which sends emails to residents when emergencies affecting a large portion of the city occur, such as severe weather and hurricanes. RECREATION VEHICLES AND TRAILERS

We have been receiving numerous reports about all terrain vehicles being ridden along the drainage ditch areas and power line easements. As a reminder, this is private property and we have instructed the Constable Patrol to monitor the areas and write citations for trespassing, as well as deterring safety hazards. We have also noticed personal utility trailers being parked behind fences along the drainage ditch and will be collecting license plate information to determine ownership for violation notices from the Association, as well as the Constable Patrol issuing citations for trespassing on private property. Towing of the trailers could be an end result as well.

CONSTABLE PATROL

As a reminder, the Association has a patrol contract through Harris County Precinct 5 Constable. We share 40 hours of patrol per week at random time with Aberdeen Trails HOA. Please add the following dispatch number to your cell phones or post in a visible place at home in case you need support in a non life-threatening situation. Their non-emergency dispatch number is 281-463-6666. The Constable Patrol also offers a free vacation watch service. LOITERING AND VANDALISM

Please help us to keep our recreation areas safe and clean by reporting any and all loitering after dark directly to the Constable and then to management. Please also remember to report any suspicious persons walking around the community or at the parks immediately to the Constable Patrol non-emergency dispatch number at 281463-6666. Better safe than sorry!

CFISD students are expected to raise more than $500,000 from the 22nd Annual CFISD Livestock Show and Sale, held February 4th - 6th at the CFISD Exhibit Center. The CFISD community showed an incredible amount of generosity in the live auction, freezer sale and via additional monetary contributions to students. The Premium Sale (live auction) unofficially raised $502,250. Final amounts from the Freezer Sale (animals not placing high enough for the live auction), Agriculture Mechanics silent auction and additional gifts to students are not yet available, but CFISD career and technical education coordinator Denise Kubecka mentioned that five records were tied or broken as grand and reserve champions sold.

MEN’S OUTWARD FLAG FOOTBALL

Come join men 18 yrs and older for our men’s Outward Flag Football league coming this spring. Practice/Games will be on Saturday afternoons around 2 PM. The league will have a tournament at the conclusion of the season. Evaluations for all players will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, March 14th, 15th and 17th from 6-7 PM and Saturday, March 19th from 10:30-11:30 AM. These will take place on the fields behind the church. Cost for the league will be $40 per player covering cost of officials and jersey. First games will be April 9th and season concludes on May 21st with tournament. Registration will begin in February.

GIRL SCOUTS OF SAN JACINTO COUNCIL COPPER CREEK MEADOWS COMMUNITY

Copper Creek Meadows Community received our shipment of Girl Scout Cookies early in February. We would like to thank all those who came out to unload the truck and assist in the distribution, especially our community cookie manager, Michelle Baxmann. Cookie sales continue through March 20th. Look for cookie booths at area businesses and other locations. Cookie sales support programs and facilities for Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, as well as funding activities for individual troops. We appreciate the support of our friends and neighbors! Those attending our Leader-Daughter event in December had a different kind of service project this year! They helped to refurbish Barbie and other fashion dolls donated to a local assistance ministry. The dolls were first cleaned and sanitized and then they got a makeover! New hairdos, clothes and shoes let the dolls look their fashionable best before meeting their new owners for the holidays. Our World Thinking Day event in February had troops representing Vietnam, Madagascar, Japan, Puerto Rico, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, France, China, Egypt, Canada, Jamaica, Australia, Spain, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa. Each troop attending had a booth to represent their country, with food and “swaps” and activities. We closed the evening with a Friendship Circle and sang “Make New Friends”. We also collected nickels for the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund. Thinking Day commemorates the birthdays of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell and reminds us to “think” of our fellow Scouts and Guides around the world. March brings Girl Scout Week and the 104th anniversary of Girl Scouting in the United States. Many of our members will also take part in special activities at their place of worship on Girl Scout Sabbath and Girl Scout Sunday. A STRIDERS (Scout Teams Running in Different Events and Relays) event is scheduled for April, with a variety of track and field events for Girl Scouts of all ages. Whether we are jumping rope, racing around the track or making a standing broad jump, it is even more fun when our families come out to coach and cheer us on! Leaders and their daughters are looking forward to some special times together at our spring event in Wimberley. Horseback riding, rock climbing, lots of crafts, a Dutch Oven Cook-off and a talent show are all part of this very special weekend. We also enjoy kayaking, playing in the river and just hanging out together. A little shopping sometimes helps to round out the weekend! Lots of things are going on in our Council for older girls in April, including Cadette weekend and Girl Scout Law day. Girl Scouts from Copper Creek Meadows Community also have an opportunity to participate (with their troops or their families) at The Girl Scout Sleepover on May 20th at the Sugarland Skeeters stadium in Sugarland. The Skeeters will be playing Bridgeport. There will be a Scout parade in the stadium before the game. Following the game, participating Girl Scout groups will pitch their tents on the field, watch a movie and enjoy a midnight snack before it is “Lights Out” and officially quiet time until breakfast the next morning. Plans are in the works for a Father/Daughter event and a Bridging ceremony, as well as an event for adult volunteers. Members of Brownie troop 16016 are looking forward to working on their Brownie Senses and Brownie Hiker Badges at the George Ranch. Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5 (must be in kindergarten) through 18, who are willing to accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Girls

The Daisy Dash 5K Fun Run and Kids 1 Mile Run will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the Jersey Village Park Pavilion in Jersey Village, Texas. The route will start at the park and meander around the lovely neighborhoods of Jersey Village then pick up at the hike and bike trail which loops back around to the park for the finish line. The timed 5K will start at 8 AM. Awards will be given to the top runners in each age group as well as to the top overall finishers. The Kids 1 Mile Run will start at 9:30 AM. The Daisy Dash 5K Fun Run is hosted and sponsored by Chapter FD, Houston, TX of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. P.E.O. is a Philanthropic Educational Organization that celebrates and supports the education and advancement of women.
